Although I prefer Rogue, in her current state I'd go for Wonder Woman.

I don't know Rogue, so I'll opt for Wonder Woman for the heck of it. As an aside, I once tried to convince my female copilot to buy a Wonder Woman outfit that we saw in a shop window in Washington DC. Thought it would be a great thing for her to wear at 'happy hour' in the Officers' Mess. Some girls just have no sense of humour!

Back when Linda Carter was lassoing bad guys, her costume was the only thing holding the ratings up. And I think her costume was appealing to men and women.

nothing wrong with the star spangled bathing suite. but the high healed boots really bothered me. how was she suposed to run:D

...she was "tragically sexy". More common are the "tragically hip" 40-somethings with gold medallions dangling over hairy bellies.

Once again, Marvel's character is little more than fury and kickassery. Rogue's ability to absorb other people's powers could come in handy, but Wonder Woman is simply too good a fighter to let that little girl get that close in the first place! Rogue is one of my favourite X-Men in the comics and cartoons, but I simply don;'t see her as a match for WW. Now Jean Grey Vs. WW - we might have a match on our hands!

for me, marvel has to often taken the 'easy' route with their hero's having them all sound and fury like wolverine, rogue and hulk, rather than rounded charactgers with motivation. I will say here that that was my view years ago, and i've not kept up to date on new developements in the industry, but the films i'm seeing from the marvel stable, although enjoyable haven't changed my mind at all. especially spidey.

Because the film is targeting people like you who haven't followed the characters in years.

...yea, heavy on the action—neglecting character development—to sell pulp.

Rogue would win... Rogue & WW have the same powers; Super strength, speed, invulnerability, & reflexes & flight... theyre both experts armed & unarmed... but since WW is almost completely naked Rogue can easily take her powers... then shed be unstoppable... plus Rogue has a 6th sense that helps her predict her opponents moves... but WW is still super awesome i love them both but Rogue can take her down...

Rogue takes off those gloves and gives her one good smack on the butt and that skinny wonderwoman is so going down.

I'd like to see that!:p:D

Have to vote for Rogue, both seem to be close-in fighters and Rogue's ability to absorb the powers of another by touch is too much of an advantage (unless WW took to wearing a Burkha!)

BUT ... if WW used a form of gel to act as a barrier so Rogue couldn't make skin contact that would make it interesting!

 Ok, yes I am imagining WW and Rogue in a Jelly wrestling match, sorry.

Hmm. I'd have to say Rogue, too, although I'm not too sure if any of the current storylines have changed the characters at all. It's been ages since I read anything by Marvel, and even longer since I read anything DC.

I wouldn't assume Rogue could absorb WW's powers, given that they are based on godly gifts and magic... nor that a touch would necessarily take WW down, for the same reason. And if WW is (in the present iteration) actually made out of clay (unless they've reversed that recently, and I hadn't heard), Rogue won't be touching flesh, ergo, won't be able to absorb anything.

And as WW has the warrior's skill and weapons that Rogue cannot match, I'd give it to WW easily.
