Which should I read first?

It does and it doesn't. I'd start with the riftwar and work through, Although I think the serpentwar saga is some of Feist's strongest work. Which incedently I also read first.

Magician is one of the most acclaimed fantasy books and I enjoyed it, So enjoy.....

Strangely enough, i also started with the Serpentwar and read all the later books afterwards until Into a Dark Realm. Only read Magician and the others earlier this year.

I would start with Magician instead of going for the Conclave of Shadow's series and the Darkwar. As Woodsman said it is his most acclaimed book and gives so much background reading on the early life and rise of Pug and Tomas, which is essential to understand much of the later books.

Um no. I'm not a big fan of conclave so I always hoped there was but....

They just seem to concentrate strongly on one character, whereas Feist's ability to split the action was something I'd liked about his books before so......
