Where would you like to be born

Highgarden or Oldtown for me. And I would swear my sword to the Tyrells - i would want to be on the winning side and be part of the single largest army in Westeros, that of The Reach.
Storms End is also a strong candidate.
I hate the cold so Winterfell, the Iron Islands and anywhere north of there is just out of the question.

Hello all, been reading for a while( a bout a week), thought i should get involved

I've always liked the sound of Starfall - its just the sound of it really, but i mean, come on if im serious, it has to be Valyria.

...and all the frustrations of never having any power, so you sit and drink all day, play knight at tournaments, gallavant with the serving wenches, maybe hang out with your buddy Renly (if you play for the other team or can play for both teams ;) ), go on another boring hunting expedition, etc. Like the LG commercials say: "Life's Good!"

I also vote for the North for obvious reasons. Although I am intrigued by Braavos.

The Northman so far are to me the coolest (in general) but the reality of heir lifes is that it is hard, that is offcourse why they are the way ther are, the north is hard and so are they.(likewise with the ironmen).

But come on, i mean every human wshes to be able to do what he damn well pleases, and when he is not doing that do nothing and be lazy. TK, as a third prince you can be lazy whenever you want, you can almost get everything that you want, and only the stupid (NOT MEANING TO INSULT ANYONE JUST MY OWN STUPID OPÏNION) ones would want to actually sit on the iron Throne themselves and be King, and when you are not lazying around or wenching or ... you can do whatever you like to do,you HAVE enough power to do what interests you, it does not mean that you dont have to do squat that you cant do squat. there is a difference there.

That to me is why i would rather be a third prince, you are not responsible for everything, you dont have to take care of everyone, you dont have to work constantly and go to meetings and all that (granted Robert didnt do that but Robert was a crappy king), you are a prince though and hold power as well, you can lazy around when you wish, do what you want, and if that id helping them and making some difference you can do that as well, yu're just not so much in the spotlights, a little like Chade Fallstar in the Fools trilogy (last one in the farseer world)

Different strokes for different folks.

The Iron Throne teaches every ruler one thing: If you are not ready to get cut, don't sit in it.

Well said unworthy. Winterfell or beyond the wall. I'm scandanavian, athabaskan and Inuvialuit from the Northwest territories so I belong no where else. I also like the sound of the mountain steppe where the Khal's live.

I'd be fine with one of three places:

1. The Eyrie - I think that whole castle and the cliffs sound really awesome.

2. Summerhall - I'm fascinated by the history and by Rhaegar.

3. Winterfell - well, I'm from the very northern part of Vermont so I'm used to living in harsh winters. You'd be amazed at the huge climate difference just between southern Vermont and northern Vermont.

Being from Canada, i will say that Winterfell would fit myself nicely as I'm already familiar with the cold! Winter IS HERE!
I would also love the Arbour as the juice of the grape has a certain .........place in my heart( or goblet)!

My axe..........quickly!

Well according to family legend my people are part Cherokee, Scots, Irish, French and German. As it is I live in the Midwest. I'm fond of Native American Culture as well as those of the Mongols and the Vikings. I'll take the Mountains of the Moon, Iron Islands, Beyond the Wall or on the Dothrakai Sea. Perhaps I would take my arahk and carve my name in history as a reaver and a sellsword and win a kindgom with my own hands.

More like you'd be slaughtered by an ageing-one-step-from-his-deathbed farmer with a pithfork
