Wolverine, and immortal, cynical badass with claws that can cut through anything.

Dr. Otto Octavius, I want some arms like that!

Spider-Man, wall-crawling, web slinging science fan and photographer.

Storm, when you can control the weather.....

My favorite super hero would have to be spiderman without a doubt he was more 'real' in his charecter than any other.
Of course I love Wolverine who dosent?
And I always wanted to have Storms powers.
My all time favorite villian is Magneto, what an awesome guy! :D

I know he is not a super villian in a comic book or anyhting but another 'bad guy' I have always wanted to win is Tom from Tom and Jerry, I hated the mouse!

I have never liked Superman.. he is a bit of a 'numpty'!

Batman! cant go past Batman for a super hero - as for a villan, I always liked Mr sinister from the X men for no particular reasonand yeah i hated superman too - he's just too much like turning god mode on in a video game (ie cheating cuz no one can kill him)

my favourite superhero is either shatterstar or warpath from the early x-force comics but i also liked wolverine and beast from x-men. dont like spidy, superman or batman. my favourite baddy is galactus eater of planets

Probably Spiderman for me, cuz I grew up reading his adventures.

A couple of Supergroups I really liked were The Elementals and Justice Machine published by Comico in the late 80's. There was also a group called the Southern Knights published during the same time frame.

But of course....Let's not forget.....THE TICK!!!!!!

SPOOOOOOOONNNNNN!!!!!

MARVEL COMIC HEROS

The Fantastic Four, X-men, the Avengers, Captain Marvel, Adam Warlock, the Hulk, Ironman, Thor, Daredevil, Captain America, Moon Knight, the Silver Surfer, Spiderman, the Punusher, the Submariner, Man-Thing, Werewolf by Night, the Thing, Wolverine, Nova, Ghost Rider, the Black Panther, Iron Fist, Blade.

NON MARVEL HEROS

Batman, Superman, Swamp-Thing, Judge Dredd, Hellboy, Spawn.

MARVEL COMIC VILLAINS

Dr Doom, Ultron, Thanos, Magneto, Mr Hyde, Loki, the Sandman, Dr Octopus, the Leader, the Abomination, the Rhino, Nitro, the Skrulls and Super-Skrull, the Moleman, Galactus, the Absorbing Man, the Titanium Man, the Controller, the Red Skull.

I narrowed my choices down.

Favorite superheroes: Nexus, Legion of Superheros and the best of the best Ironman

Villian: The Ghost

Batman (because of the demons)

Mr Freeze (Because Arnold's portrayal is hilarious)

Quite a hard one top answer this as there are so many characters to choose from, but in the end I think I can narrow it down to just one hero and villain, but plenty of others came closes, Spider-man, Wolverine, Guardian (the original from Alpha Flight), Superman (more as he was originally) Daredevil, Hitman and the list goes on and on.

But the favourite hero would have to be Cyclops of the X-Men. I'm not to keen on the way he is written these days, but how he was at the beginning, insecure and afraid of his powers, through to the Claremont/Byrne era, a man growing into his leadership, and compared to Captain America on occasion...

Villain - well I hate to stick with the X-Men, but Magneto always had more depth and tragedy, you could believe that what he was doing was something he really believed in even though he was wrong, his innate nobility shone through. (I know he is a good guy now, but he still has the edge...)

A special note has to go to Apocalypse - not the greatest of villains, but he had the potential, the way Louise Simonson wrote him was untouchable.

Don't know why, but always liked Havok from the X-Men. After that, Daredevil.

Favourite hero has to be Batman for me. For some reason I like him more than Superman for all of his power and abilities. Maybe it's because Batman is just a normal man who has made himself into something extraordinary and beyond the talents of most people.

Villains, hmm, Mr Sinister, Apocalyse, and DC side Darkseid and Doomsday, but shame they keep bringing him back and overusing him.

The Question (Vic Sage, not Renee Montoya) (Mostly the O'Neil version, I haven't been able to get my hands on the Charlton Comics)

As for a villain, there can only be one: The Joker.

John Constantine - Hellblazer.

Hero, and Villain. Depends what day of the week it is. :)

Though haven't read any comics for a long time.

Spoiler (Watchmen):
Otherwise, best villain in comic lit has to be Ozymandias aka Adrian Veidt. That line about being a republican serial villain was classic. :)

Brian: Watchmen was great, wasn't it? I tried to think of long running characters but if I hadn't the whole cast would've gotten my vote. (In a way I voted for Rorschach anyway.

Cosmic Marvel's always been my favorite Marvel, so...

Galactus, the Silver Surfer (& the other heralds), Adam Warlock,
Drax & Thanos!

but really, I love far too many comics! ;)

Rorschach from 'The Watchmen'- he's like Batman only a lot less wealthy. Also, the fact that his background made him dark, cynical and a bit too right-wingy and his violent approach for the greater good made him unpopular, which offers a bit more depth than Batman (whom I hold in the greatest esteem) who at least can fall back as a Billionaire.
I will at least try to break away from the more obvious hero/villian, but will vote Joker, in all his many versions, as a pretty strong candidate as top baddy, but then he has received a lot of attention from Artists and Writers. 'Final Crisis' is epic and has numurous manic villians who destroy the universe (and all parallel universes) in a bid to achieve Anti-life. Lot's of great bad guys.
[Contains potential Spoiler]
Final suggestion: Lord Gull aka Jack the Ripper of 'From Hell' (too obvious?) Firstly, he's Jack the Ripper. Secondly, he takes on the role as 'dispatcher' on behalf of the British Crown. Thirdly, an intricate system of Free Mason coverups throughout the investigation protects him. And he's Mad, and yet rather insightful of the future. His presence haunts the Fourth Dimension whereby events like this re-occur throughout time e.g. the Yorkshire Ripper.
