Favorite Superheros and Villains

Lucifer (Carey's take on him).


Hero and villian, depends on his opponent. Quite frail in some situations, but with such immense willpower he can defy and deny anybody. Mysterious, but at the same time quite human. Great character.

Lord Gull has great depth and is probably the most wicked character I've read. Him and some takes on Joker. Mazikeen wins best sidekick. And Cassidy from Preacher needs an honourable mention with his bad good-guy approach.
 
My favourite heroes are mighty thor and invincible and batman. I quite enjoy invincible actually, even though it is a new superhero comics.
 
My favorite hero is Pitt from Image comics, this dude is vicious. I like him because he is outside the norm of what and how a hero should be. Also I like Longshot from Marvel.

My favorite villian is Deadpool from Marvel Comics, I like the character because of his unpredictability, style, and humor.
 
My favorite superhero would be 'The Phantom' and as far the super villian goes my favorite is 'Magneto' from X-MEN.
 
For Villain it's Darkseid. He was caught right and proper by the Forever People and talked his way out of it before they even knew what he was doing.

For Hero(ine) it's Misa Amane of DeathNote. I know many will see her as a Villainess but overall she does more good than harm, (mainly by catching the third Kira, who was just a plain evil ******* and would have taken over the world if he could, and nobody was even close to getting him but she did it with no problem) and you have to feel sorry for her because of all the bad things she has happen. I have a Fanfic fantasy where she doesn't commit suicide a year after Light's death but marries the cop who loved her and lives a long life because she still has several years left from the Shinigami who sacrificed herself for her, and Shinigami are nearly immortal.

The strangest part of that story is that the only major characters manifesting fairly normal human feelings are the Shinigami

I really enjoyed the movie The Watchmen.
I thought there was a tremendous amount of depth to every character in the story. I think my favorite was The Comedian, what a tragic figure.

I particulary enjoyed his midnite confessions to the only person he felt comfortable confiding in - his arch nemesis!

One question - In the grande scheme, was he a dark hero or a light villain?
 
Heroes: Deadpool, Wolverine, Batman

Villains: Joker

Can't say I like Superman, he's too strong. I do enjoy that he is one of the only superheroes whose 'costume' is to be a normal person rather than a costume being a superhero.
 
Heroes: Deadpool, Superman, Hawkeye, Green Arrow and Spiderman.
Villains: Zod, Carnage, Thanos, Darksied and Cyclops (as of AvX)
 
My favorite hero is Spider Jerusalem. I mean at least I know what to tattoo on my head if/when I get bald.
