Well, Catelyn thought Rickon, Bran, and Arya were dead and Sansa was good as dead... but none of them are as yet. In fact, she thought that she was dead herself. So, perhaps she was wrong about Ned being dead, too.

Wow if Ned was alive that would be a shock. Even now every Stark thinks all others are dead (except Bran and Rickon [and Catelyn and Robb?]) but if Ned isnt dead only Robb would... Or is he . Maybe some red priest like Thoros of Myr healed Robb like Thoros healed Beric Dondarrion .

Perhaps... although that would bring us back to an undead Robb with a wolf's head. I think I might have to draw the line there.

Audio books! What a fantastic idea! I've been considering re-reading the books in preparation for the publication of FFC but am short on time due to a massive pile of books that I'm already making my way through, in amongst kids, writing, trying to be a normal person... I hadn't thought of audio books, I'd better get searching...
