'Due to much mirth Rosey is in danger of falling off chair' :D ;)

However, Rosey does not think that Iskaral Pust is the answer. It was a character that Rosey read a few years ago - BE :D

I can't really think of anyone else who has a character talk in the 3rd person at the moment. The only thing that seems similar to me is in the Elder Scrolls games the beast races (Khajiit and Argonian, for anyone whose played them) talk in 3rd person, but I can't think of another author using it.
thought I so an (high?) ordinator in your avatar!
Kruppe, hey? Well, he reminds me of a folktale here in the region KruppeR aka " lange moaie" ( long grasper or something like that in English) is a 30 feet tall person who lives in the sewers. He has extremely long arms, and he abducts kiddies by pulling them trough manholes and such.

"another victim for lange moaie" is one of the more common sentences in this tale
he speeks the way you say...

Nice remark on J.C. too, he did do that.

I know your looking to read more next year,so add him to your list.I think you'll enjoy
That's a brilliant idea...I am sure you will like them Cornelius. There are some super characters in the Malazan series. :)

I shall be getting the 'House of Chains' as soon as I can...

Right now I am flying through this series, I can't put it down! My brother, who got my name this christmas, got me the next three book after Gardens of the Moon. I have already finished Deadhouse Gates and I am about 300 pages into Memories of Ice. As soon as my local bookstore opened after christmas I rushed to it cause I knew they had one copy of Midnight Tides left, I had to have it!

My brothers motives in this were strong because he too had read Gardens of the Moon. His wife asured me she never let him read them and they do look brand new! Such restraint! I would not have been able to resist had our roles been reversed.

:D
