A character i can't wait to see more of

Sometimes a spade is just a spade...at least there were some clues with Sandor. I mean petting the dog...tossing the clod at the knight...with Coldhands its just one of those this is my only option kind of things.

GRRM has been exceedingly good at not dropping complete surprises on us so far. If the R+L=J theory is correct then he's already set the groundwork for it....If that guy is Sandor, the same....If Tywin had a hand in Joffreys death then I will laugh and point at all of you. But that aside Coldhands has no set up, none whatsoever.

If there is not something leading up to the relevation in the next book Im gonna drop an anvil on someone like they do in the cartoons. Seriously, if the opening chapter is Coldhands saying "Oh hello Bran...its your uncle Benjen...dont you recognize me" Im going to cry.

I agree with Aegon on this.

Although I think its possible that Bj=Ch, it just strays a bit too far into stereotypical fantasy-land for me.

"Lets give the reader another Shannara... er...Stark with magical powers!" bleah :p

Hey someone agreed with me...thats happened like....never....Im all abeaming with joy.....cept of course its Trey and we all know he's a loon....Melisandre is evil?....pfft I say....pfft!

What? No Jaqen=Coldhands? Im shocked! ;)

I never liked the B=Ch hypothesis. Im of the Ch=some random magical guy (SRMG) camp.

Naah, we know from the end of AFFC where Jaqen is now.

But I see little discussion of the Rhaegar+Lyanna=Hodor theory. Disappointing! :)

How about more Blackfish? Or more Jojen...a nice POV from Jojen...I think I would have to go lick some South American tree frogs belly to understand it but there ya go.

I've said it before and I'll say it again: SANDOR POV!!!!!!!!!! Now that would rock. Except I remember some of you snickering about whether we would be subject to his "thoughts" about the lovely Sansa.

Cept I feel it may take away some of the mystery - Is he a bad to the bone sorta dude or really a dark hero waiting to be redeemed? I'd be disappointed if it was confirmed either way.

I would also like to see more of Sandor, but your probably rite it would ruin the misteryabout him. It's just a theory I have;that there will be another meeting between Sandor and Arya that just didn't feel finished .also I agree that a Jojin pov would be nice.

I'd say that for different reasons, there is zero chance of either a Jojen or Sandor POV.

Since GRRM wants to keep magic in ASOIAF mysterious, we'll never see a 'magical' POV like Jojen, Thoros, Melisandre or Howland. Plus, I suspect Jojen knows too much.

A Sandor POV, as others have said, resolves a different kind of mystery - what are Sandor's true feelings? (Not just towards Sansa, but also Arya and a number of other things.) It would destroy the character.

What of Bran then?

They start out ignorant. He and Dany are like the reader in that they know nothing of the world mysteries and so they are the best and safest way for us to find out.

I want to here about Stone Heart and how she and her band kills off all of the Freys. I'd love for her to kill Walder herself.

I suspect Stoneheart could be a problem for the kingdom if she doesn't fade away/crumble into dust or something when the Freys are dealt with (if). She seems to like killing, so she might just go on doing it. OTOH, if the Freys survive and go on with no repercussions, maybe she'll just become their personal bogeyman! And be there forever. And Frey mothers will tell their children about how if they are bad, the nasty Stoneheart will come get them...

That's funny, I don't even know who stonehart is, I haven't read affc yet, hopeing to get to it later this week. But stonehart sounds appropriate for the Frees

I am incredibly disappointed that no one has requested more of John Snow. I understand he has been discussed in detail in other posts. I am most curious as to which path he will finally choose.

I am also perplexed at the lack of desire to see an Eddard POV. We have all concluded that he was not truly beheaded, correct! ; )

A Catelyn POV would be inspiring:

“Beric, did you make the yummy sound?”
“No, Tom I didn’t, but I did hear the yummy sound and what is making all of that noise in underbrush?”
Tom peers through the bush only to find Catleyn walking repeatedly into a large tree
“Uuuuhhhhhmmmm.” Thump, thump thump. “uuuuuuhhhhmmm.”

In all seriousness, the 4 characters I want to read the most about: Snow, Tyrion, Jaime (yes I know we just got a full dose of him), and Arya (ditto).

I also would like to state for the record I would most like to read about Cersei suffering horrible and mind numbing acts of torture and abuse. Okay that may be harsh, but it’s the truth…
