Philippa Gregory

I just finished The Constant Princess and quite enjoyed it. I found the writing to be a little difficult to get used to (Catalina's parts in italics), but after a couple chapters it was fine. I didn't enjoy it as much as The Other Boleyn Girl, but still a really good read.

I've generally stuck to her tudor ones... The Queen's Fool, The Other Bolyn Girl, The Bolyn Inheritance and The Other Queen most recently. I enjoyed them all, especially since I do enjoy that period in history. I have read one of her others, though i can't remembe which one is was, and enjoyed that one as well, but I think her Tudor ones are generally the best.

I've read The Other Boleyn Girl, The Boleyn Inheritance, The Queen's Fool, The Virgin's Lover, The Wise Woman... I'm sure some others as well... I like them. They're trashy romance packaged up as historical fiction, and at least make you feel a tiny bit like you know what was going on back then, as long as you disregard all the characters' sexual preferences and so on. I buy them to read on planes, mostly!
