Bonehunters

FS. Just checked amazon and realised i hadn't ticked the "dispatch orders as they become available" box and one of the items i ordered at the same time isn't out til the end of march :( Corrected it now but i don't know how long i'll have to wait.

Mine's been dispatched today :D So hopefully i'll get it tommorow.

Now i have a dilema. :( I've fallen behind on my reading somewhat of late and i've still got most of "the prisoner of ironsea" tower by Sarah Ash to read. It's an O.K. series and fairly entertaining, but not brilliant. But i have a real thing about not being able to read stuff out of order, or stop reading one thing and starting another etc. So what do i do?

Pfff. You're asking people in the Erikson section what to do? ;) For me, everything (including life, really) goes on hold when a new Erikson/Pratchett/Iain M. Banks book comes out.

Mine was also despatched today... roll on tomorrow!

According to my mate Cal aka Rane Lanefox, probably within the next week, maybe even this weekend, not bad for being in OZ.....:)

Great to see ya again Green/Yellow m'lad:D:D:D Thought we'd lost you!!

No sign of the books yet:( Hope the airmail speeds up!!!!

I caved :) God this book is brilliant. I'm on page 568 or something, read loads yesterday so i'm slowing down now, trying to savour it. but OMG! That chapter set in G'danisban (sp?)! You know the one i mean. i nearly cried at the end :(

Good to see the Master hasn't lost his high standards...:D

I went online to the Amazon UK to order The Bonehunters, and they said it would be dispatched in 4 to 6 weeks. What gives? Does anyone know if they really take that long to send the book?

I don't know... I preordered mine a few months ago. Try play.com and see what they say.

Play says they are temporarily out of stock. Order now and it will be dispatched as soon as it comes in.

Are there any large bookstores in the UK (such as Barnes & Noble here in the States) that are online? The publishing company just refers me to Amazon UK.

If the estimated delivery on Amazon is 4-6 weeks then they've sold out, they will dispatch the book as soon it's available that could be anything from a few days to months.Of the three main bookshops in the UK, Ottakers on line site directs you to the nearest shop, Waterstones directs you to Amazon, and WH Smith's haven't seen they're way to stocking it yet.You best bet would be to do a web search and maybe purchase it from a small independent retailer

jeez, I'm quite lucky then. I forgot to actually pre-order it with Amazon until about a week before release, and yet i got it on the day of release. Guess i must've just made the boat.

I'll be sure to preorder his next book, in about a year from now. In the meantime, I guess I'll order from Amazon now, and then do a search on the web and see if I can find it there. I can always cancel from Amazon. Thanks all for your help. By the way, I think it's great that the book is selling so well.
