Just an 'HOORAY'? Is that all you can say?
Tired and going to bed now so HOORAY shall suffice...ZZZZZZZZZZZZZ

Our friend Cal has just about finished reading the book by now give or take a couple of more hours...:D

near finished myself, only the finale to go and i am saving it for a mammoth session tonight, so much has happened in the book already, so much tragedy. enjoy it gollum, it passes much too fast...

if i finish it tonight like i plan i will try to write a full review without spoilers:)

The best way Nixie...:) When you have to wait for something then yes, make the most of every page. :D

Chapter 7. OMG!!!!!!!

Bleedin' 'eck!

Woo!!!

Tis the best chapter in the series so far. I forgot to breath on occasion...

I might do a review myself once I've finished, without reading yours first :p Unlike Cal,I thought chapter 7 was less than awe inspiring... but I'll post my thoughts up once I'm done.

Yep, pro-ordered with Amazon and got it the day after release. Haven't started it yet as I've only just discovered Erikson a couple of months ago. Still, having all his books to read in one go is pretty damn good.
Unfortunately some of the pages are repeated in my copy of Midnight Tides, (see my other post), so I don't know whether to continue or wait for some kind soul to email me the pages/precis.

Cheers,

Steve

This happened to me once, very annoying. Can you not take the book back to where you got it, get a replacement? I'm sure they wouldn't argue it.

Hmm, yeah, if you got it second hand it might be harder to get it replaced. Did they tell you about the repeated pages when you ordered it? If not, they've probably got to get you a new one, but I don't know for sure...

I've now sent emails to both publisher and seller, so I'll just have to wait. Unlike reading Midnight Tides which I couldn't put down.

When I get to Bonehunters I'm going to have to slow down though, another year waiting for the next instalment rather than just picking the next one up, sheesh.

Aye, sucks, doesn't it. Ive had to wait a year between each of them since Deadhouse Gates, and I tell ya, it gets a real drag after a while:(

Well I'm sure I can find something useful for you to do whilst you reside in our fair city...:D

I've just received a brand new copy from the bookstore that sold me the 2nd hand book. So if any of you buy from Amazon UK then "Browns Books" are a great markeplace seller!

I never use the marketplace anymore, cos I've had bad experiences with it.

But I'm happy you got it sorted :) Read on!

I received my copy by Express Post, all the way from our young friend Cal, who as you know is holidaying in our fair land.

What a kind young man he is...thank you Cal, a lovely gift.:)

I am only half way through chapter three unfortunately...however I have already decided that it is much better than MOI...:D
