Fantasycon 2006 - UK

Strange ... I personally would be thrilled if my husband took me to a major Fantasy convention for my birthday or our anniversary.

Same here, but it's not likely, my hubby dont read books often and definately not the genre i like

Does anyone know what day Neil Gaiman is there? Theres a Saturday 23rd thing, that ends with TBC - which I don't like! ScalemX is trying to convince me to turn up, and the temptation to see Gaiman is growing :D

But I'm comming, Scalem, the rumoured Belgian:p . I'll bring some chocolate and beer if that would persuade you.:)
I would like to go as well, Scallywag! :D Unfortunately, it will take more than some chocolate and beer to get me there...

Oh well it's nice to dream ;)

I think I'll hopefully be able to attend at least one day.
Do we have any idea of start times for the various days (and also whether it is worth buying tickets in advance or on the door?).

I may come down on the Saturday morning & see if I can stop overnight and go Sunday prior to leaving. Sounds like a plan! :)

He will be there all weekend,I have posted a reply with the times of all the panels futher on for someone else who asked a general enquiry.

Me, me, me!! from the first day, but I'm not sure what time. (trains:eek: )
Anyway, I'll probably be wearing a red 'quicksilver' bag and will be having a horrible accent. Is that enough. If you can't find me, ask for the crazy Belgian, that should do the trick.:p

Me, on Saturday, catching up with a couple of friends, also a couple of panels I want to see.

Change of plans, I mean bags. Going for a blue-white with silver coloured thingie.:p

Just ask for me: "Jotter" or "Scalem the tenth" or "The wicked belgian":)

Should be there about 3ish,looking foward to meeting up with some old friends, as a few only go to Fantasycon.

Oh gosh that was great! (Not that I'm biased!) But despite being a headless chicken all weekend, thought it went rather well... Far too knackered to come up with anything too coherent to say about it... :)

All feedback (both positive and negative) will be most welcome... and thanks to everyone that could make it - you made the event!!
