Given the chance would you?

Oooh, what an idea ponyperson! conflicting views, interesting....
Yeah, that kind of thing was my point, as with the schizophrenia. Well, I shan't go into the debate some of us on the CH4 (UK SG-1 broadcaster) site got into after seeing 'Tok'ra' 2 weeks back, but there is another point....
Ah, I can feel myself getting OTT here, and out of the SG realms of my imagination, so I'm going to quit while I'm still making limited sense.

interesting point. Would Selmak allow the Tok'ra to strike against earth in the knowledge that he would be killing his hosts daughter? Would Jacob be able to assert himself to stop such action if Selmak was for it?

oooh intresting...

what a conondrum....wow...got to think about that one.

aby(is there a stargate dictionary? if not, can we have it?)

We know that goa'ulds control their hosts and the difference between goa'ulds and Tok'Ra is only philosopical... So I think that there could be really interesting conflicts when host and Tok'ra are not in agreement!

Now, that is something I'd like to see....lol...
Tokra argueing with himself....lol....

Yeah but they'd have to do it from the Point of View of the Tok'ra wouldn't they? I mean, if SG-1 (minus Sam) were there, it would b more focused on them.

the way i see it would be something that SG-1 have done, and the next episode after that the Tok'ra are reacting to it. The main focus would undoubtedly be on Jacob/Selmak as he has the strongest ties to the Tau'ri, it would be really cool to see a Tok'ra council meeting, and Selmak says something, then Jacob asserts and argues against it, then Selmak flashes the eyes and argues back...

But an argument between a Tok'ra symbiote and the host would probably be fought out inside his head, so there wouldn't be much to hear, except when one of them loses it...

I keep remembering Klo'rel's and Ska'ara's battle for possession and that was somewhat shown on the outside (Season 1 Serpent's Lair, And Season 2 Serpent's Grasp). And I think of Seth (season 3) when Jacob was being urged by Selmak to see his son and reinstate some sort of ties...So it might be both! Jacob is a very strong character as is Selmak!

your so right...it would be a difficult thing to do..but hey, so far the shows writers haven't let us down...

I like the vision of the meeting....cool...

Wel, I'm stuck there! Happily stuck there. Not moving on... Remembering the ep from the 2 times I've seen it... Oops, can't b healthy to drool onto a computa keyboard... I'm sure it shouldn't be fizzling like that... ;)

LOLLOL!!!! Kelsi, loved the battle for possession of Ska'ara between the two!

The Skarra/Klorel thing is a bit different, as the Go'auld don't allow the host to surface, it took alien tech. to do it, this wouldn't be the case for Jacob/Selmak...

Hey Ra, we might do it to you sometime! ;)

The ep would really show what the Tok'ra think of the tau'ri - what compassion they showed to Jacob.

Then write it ponyperson....I for one would love to see it....*grins*....

get cracking...*grins*

oh gee, darn.. i just started another "saga"... shoulda asked me earlier... *grin*
