TER is a transphase eradication rod. It's a Tok'ra's weapon against the Rhi'tou, relies on the Rhi'tou emissions that the Goa'ulds are sensitive to, in order to make the Rhi'tou visible.
First we can see it in Show and Tell and also it was in Fair Game (Sam used it against Nirrti).
