So who from the forums went to Gatecon 2000?

Wish I had, but several of my friends did. They had a marvelous time. I'm jealous because they all got to see the 'boxers or briefs' thing between JR Bourne and Jay.

I have to admit I missed large chunks, but thanks to Allan and folks, there was a large screen TV out in the other room so we folks at registration could follow as much as possible. From what I saw and heard, folks were having a great time: con folks and crew/cast alike.

I'll most certainly be there. One of the few times a con is close to me [Tacoma, WA is only 3 housr drive south of Vancouver, BC].

GateCOn locations

GateCon outside of the Vancouver, BC area? Probably not. At least right away. It's the nearness to the set and the cast and cre's residences that help make the whole project work. Even a closer location, such as the Seattle/Tacoma area, which is used to cons, is not being considered.

Unfortunately the answer to this (for 2001 at least) is no. We have planned two conventions for 2002, one in Canada again, and the second to be set in the US. Unfortunately we have no news on an exact location for that one at the moment.

Asgard will not have a choice in thia matter! Will evict him from his rooms and we will take over the ground floor! He and 'Horse' can sleep in my bedroom! We can drink coffee and Talk Teal'c and go to the convention with skydiver who will be seriously sick of us! and have a great time ..... Come to LA Gatecon 2001! and of course CJ and RDA (who also lives in Santa Monica part time) and MS, and AT and TJ, and DSD and JR Bourne and Tony Amendola and Carmin Argenziano and Gary Jones and Dan Shea and that cutie who plays Major Davis! Might get crowded at my house! But who cares! We get first access to coffee and bathrooms!

I was lucky enough to attend and I got to see the Jay and JR exhibition of boxers or briefs. I'll let those who weren't there wait until the video comes out before revealing which they wore. So a very big grin on that issue. On second thought a very Big Grin on the whole convention. How many more days until Gatecon 2001? I can hardly wait.

Gatecon is certainly here but i am pretty sure he is going to gatecon 2001 as he is well organizing it
