Thought it was a great ep as well, but prefered the one before with the child of light....boy can Danny be a real nasty little boy....*grins*

RTE2 as opposed to one, used to show sg-1 as well, ended after second season....so, now I gotta stay nice to the bro....as I can't do without my fix, he has sky, so he tapes it, but after feb, I hope to have digital...can't wait....

I'm sure Daniel can be pretty nasty (Think of 'Need', if you dare!), but I can't remember which episode you mean, can you tell me?
Alright, the Ch4 site isn't up for much talking about 'Secrets' last week. If you'd seen it already or not, what did you all think?

I thought it was pretty good. We got a 'bad guy' over-load near the end what with Heru'er and Apophis in one sitting. (Well, sitting, my sister was standing up next to the screen yelling so I couldn't see!)
Daniel's reaction was typical of him, and he did stand up to Teal'c once, by insisting he wouldn't leave Sha're.
The scene with him and Heru'er was good enough, but so was him stopping the Goa'uld using his hand-weapon thing on Jack!
Before I get OTT, can I just say, where Sha're/Amonet was looking at him, and he's gazing back.... that's it, silence.......
 
Channel 4 site??! Is it any good, and if it is, could someone give me the url/link thing for the Stargate section please?!

Once there, go onto the main Talk section, Reach4, (left hand column), and you'll find the Stargate part under 'Stargate SG-1' on the A-Z section of Thread topics.
There is no Stargate specfic page, but the chat's usually good, from many who watch without the luxury of Sky, and any spoilers (series 3 in our case), are marked.
My Username for that is L.D, I go on after the Sunday episodes for discussion, and I'll be happy to see you there, if you'll join in.
Don't worry about starting threads, even I've got one, and that philosophy one is sure to have posters.
 
yep, we have season 4, last ep saw...prodigy.....next one on vid from bro tomorrow, thrus....can't bloody wait.
 
Oh yeah, I get excited waiting to see new episodes too. According to my video, 'Spirits' is the next on up on Ch4, and it's Friday already. I know nothing of this one, but I hope it's a bit different, the previous two were character specific, not that I'm complaining of seeing either 'Secrets' or 'Bane', but it would be interesting to have a change.

also bro moved into new house today, won't have sky for a few weeks...need to find some one for next weeks...

If that has the andriods from 'Tin Man' on it, as I've read somewhere, I just wish I had Sky. That one wasn't all that bad, especially the parts between SG-1 and their robot counterparts. Can't remember the exact line by Jack, but wasn't it something like:
"Well, the Carters are arguing, the Daniels think this is all *fascinating*, and Teal'c's feeling left out."

As some of you may know, the tin men :) are back, and somehow they meet Cronos, and Daniel gets decapit8ed, or chopped up, and the annoyingly *little* spoiler pic is, I discovered after studying it for about 5 mins... of Daniel's head. On it's own.

Hehe, i just found the perfect excuse to go on the computer - I have flu, so everyone has to been nice to me (and relinquish the comp!) Un4tchun8tly, I actually *do* have flu, :( so being on is not that much consolation for hardly being able to breathe, constantly sniffing, feeling sick, etc, etc, you get the idea. And couse looking @ the spoiler pic didn't make me feel ne better - that sort of stuff is why I don't watch the Xfiles! :(
 
So, I'm not going to guess which name you are Kelsi, I know of most of them, I could just ask the people on there of course, but there's nothing to say you'd notice what I put.
Nothing wrong with being 'illogical' like that. The reason I didn't use L.D for joining ASciFi is because it's my initials, and they're *boring*!

Would you believe me if I said I can't actually remember it? I seem to remember it was a spur of the moment thing - other than feeling like a traita if i logged on as kelsi, the name suddenly came to me. Could you, please, tell me the address again, 'cos I've forgotton it! It'll be fun seeing how long it takes you to figure out who I am, and I might post again, if I can get there! Sorta like hide and seek...;)
So are you logged on as 'L.D.'? I mite 'contact' you, altho that would make it obvious...:p

What's wrong with calling us Brits? I don't have a problem with it. Don't have a problem weith any tag, personally, but there is no way to change it now.

That was my doing Skip. My sister hated that as well. I just think of 'Brit' as an american term (Yes, I'm aware you're English), but I was in the wrong. I am not culturally sensitive, or even patriotic, and so I'd gladly retract my previous comment.

Well, I tried the post, but I don't think it came out @ your last post, but eventually I got there, and spotted you! However, intelligent as I may be (!) I just DO NOT UNDERSTAND THAT FORUM!!! OK, I'm calm. It's so confusing (and no sexist remarks!) You click on a post to read it, then you click to read a reply, and the original post comes up. Or if you click a reply, and read it, it makes absolutely no sense! So, I think I'll leave my number of posts at one (Ra knows how I managed to get that one done!)

Well, having kept you in suspense, ... wait a bit more... :p No. I don't think so anyway. You're wrong, but keep guessing, the game goes on. I would give you a clue, but this is too much fun! any other forums you know that we can play hide and seek in?! ;)

Actually, it's probably better to keep off CH4, as it is pretty confusing. The thing with viewing the replies is that is generally means the text of the post replied to is combined in with the reply itself. Personally, I think it isn't a really efficient system.
I'm going to go there now to see, and if any one agreed with whatever I said about Tok'ra, as I cannot remember!
About your philosopy thread, I have a feeling you will all be going to deep in for me to make any valid points, but I'll view it anyhow, as I love reading stuff like that.
 
I agree, I don't think they're very organised; this layout is better. Trouble is, there's loads like that on the 'net (stargate related), and I don't post, 'cos I'm never sure what I'm replying to! By sexist comments, I just meant that I didn't undertsand the forum, but by the amount of people posting there, I couldn't see why I couldn't, as it seemed simple. If you get that. Are you a regular @ C4 then, SciFi16?
 
Never liked the term Brits. Ive always thought of myself as Scottish.

Sky One is great for showing things like Stargate, X-files Star Trek and so on, But what about other stuff. I loved the Pretender but it seemed to just vanish from the schedules. Or Early Edition, that was great but it took them 2 years to show the second series.

Bring back The Pretender!!!!!
 
Pretender? Oooh, haven't seen that for years since parents cancelled Sky.
I go onto Ch4 just to see what people think about the episodes. There was an idea of doing a chatroom thing on there, but I don't undersatnd those, and can't find the Ch4 ones. Now going onto S2 episodes - 'Tok'ra'.
