Actually we do and it is a halmark of our genus ( this probably should be more correctly family or superfamily) that we recognize so many. As primates we readily differenciate males and females (often insects only recognize the mateble of their own species and ignore or use as food sorce other creatures), young, very young, adult, old, group member,non-group member, hierarchy, ranks who allies with whom...types of enemies ( snake, eagle, felid, canid) and many others that I am leaving out. It is a really interesting thing to get into in primatology!
