Kel, sha!

I agree, as I would like my son's pic under my name! Then I could say "Moderator and Asgard's mom!" or "Moderator and Babe Magnet's mom!" and have a pic as nice as yours!

kel sha,

i'll wait for it ....
let me guess from which animal ur Asgard has the most angst .. is it the spider (or any other animal with more that 4 feet) ;)

Kel Sha,

Geromino, you guessed it. He is terrifined of anything with more than 4 feet! When he was three, I was rebuilding one of the terrace walls at my parents' home that had collapsed from too much rain and age. As I was pulling out some of the stones to restack them to get an even wall several large cockroaches ran out. He screamed and climbed on my shoulders. And screamed to be taken in to "Gammy" and "Gampa". He didn't like any explaination that their home was the ground and Mommy had disturbed them and they weren't going to hurt him.

His attitude hasn't changed with age or size. But last week he told me that he stepped on a spider when the class was screaming about one that got inside. (He was in a mixed 7th and 8th grade algebra class~ he is in the eighth grade) He really made a story about how everyone was afraid and screeming and how Big Bad Asgard stepped on the nasty mean spider to save his class, even though he was not happy about it. I asked him how he could do that, as I am usually the one (if 'horse' doesn't eat it first) to remove creepy crawlies,
and I finally drew forth that he did it because a seventh grader ~ a girl, Mom, a girl!~ had gotten a tissue and was going to get it that way.

I just can't believe this is the same child that wanted to hold a Giant Madagascar Hissing Roach... until he heard the world roach... or held giant walking sticks at the children's museum on his hand with wonder in his eyes!

Hope you are laughing, too!

Kree sha!

kel sha,

*LOL* that was a very exciting experience for asgard wasn't it ? ;)
the first step to become a great warrior ;)

to answer your question from waaaaaaaaaaaaay back, whenever it was,

i think it is pronounced a bit like the German; ""CrutZ""

does that help? :)

Well, I was talkin' to my dad about the pronounciation (Yeah, I know, I can't spell!), and he reckons, that in some parts o' Spain, a 'z' is said like 'th' (and I agree - that's how I'm being taught Spanish), and seeing as he is S. American, then it's probably 'Cruth'. I dunno. Has anyone heard of Penelope Cruz? How do you say her name? ;)

Re: Wonderful web site

About your link, Rowan...

WOW!

It's the best yet....!

Greetings...
About the Alexis Cruz pronunciation debate (and I'm sure just everybody cares about this :p ) , his name IS pronounced "cruise"...the way it is spelled is common in the hispanic/latino community.

...sigh... bit like Penelope Cruz then I suppose... Anyone seen/read Capt Correlli's Mandolin?

List

A fairly long list of basic texts and web links for Egyptology in specific and archaeology/anthropology in general. I put it together about the time I was getting ready for the dig last year in Israel.

You went on a dig to Israel? I'm quite jealous. Ever been to Egypt? Are you an archaeologist or something? *completely loses sight of the main subject* ;)
