Well just wait until they are older! I have a labor story for him! His head was so big and hard that they were cutting forever to get him out after I pushed for over an hour in Natural Childbirth! Finally, they had to get me to delivery and cut and cut and delivered the healthy scamp ~He was 8 1/2 pounds!~ The Dr. was still sewing after they plopped him on my chest and My twin and I talked to him and my Mom touched him and made sure he was alright before they wheeled her away! Her feet were black (she had poor circulation ~a result of polio) and her legs were so swollen she couldn't walk! and they were still sewing on me! Oh, yeah, I remind him of that when he gets obnoxious and demanding!
With my poor mom it was surprise twins six weeks early!
Then my twin was allergic to the fats in milk.... this was before lactaid and etc... or even formula. It took the doctor's weeks to figure it out. By the time they did my Mom had started him on clear water and saved his life. Then she stopped taking us to peditricians and took us to my dad's allergy specialist (doctor). So we all have horror stories to tell..... AND I STILL REMEMBER THIS MUCH HERSHEYS CHOCOLATE FOR A NICKEL!:rolly2:
Skydiver is correct... the guys have the easy part! all my twin did was rub my back during hard labor and tell me to breathe or pant.... Such a lot of hard work... Oh and he cut the umbillical cord and bragged like heck! My Dad stayed home... what a coward! But he carried my son around bragging about his grandson and how big he was and how perfect. (Sky.. I do like your Avatar!)
