Well, I really think that Jack would be in the show for about another two or three seasons. He did say that he wanted to spend more time with his daughter, and both being in executive director and actor in a series is a lot of work. If I had to choose someone to replace him, it would be an alternate reality Kawalsky, George Clooney, or Michael T. Weiss from the Pretender.

We use SPOILER SPACE when talking about the current season events out side of those fora and we don't flame!
On the top of the screen is other universes to visit including Books and Films. And in Films we do talk about Stargate and what we might like the next Stargate movie to have.

There is no way anyone could replace RDA as Jack. As it has been said Jack is only in his fourties, so has a long way to go before retireing, and RDA is fit enough to carry on for quite a while yet, always supposing the is more seasons to come after no 5

The easiest way to get around it to use the pull down menu at the bottom of your page. It lists all the fora of Stargate at the top of the menu. There are also other worlds to visit here at the click of a mouse. These are listed at the top of the page (also in the pull down menu) and include Films (even even have threads to talk about the proposed Stargate movie that MGM announced that it will do.),Books, and the other universes here, such as Farscape,
Buff, Dr. Who and the Treks.
The more you post you will discover that after 30 posts you will gain a little follower. You can announce it's name in the General Discussions Section in the Thread ~ alien.
Go enjoy yourself! post and if you have any problems please contact one of the administrators or moderators by post or email (icons are at the bottom of our posts). Feel free to make new threads if you do not find what you need and someone will answer!

So there!Didn't Captain Kirk ( Willy Shatner) boldly go where no man has gone before, well into his sixties ? I mean this is scifi. RDA has a lot of good years left to play Jack. They may spin the show off eventually with different actors ,like they did with Star Trek, and just make movies with the original cast.
