this thread reminds me of a story on helio called bugs on a windshield...fits in perfect with the topic.


ooh and btw, i think them waiting is just like how the elevators are conveniently at the floor they're needed on or the automatic doors on the trek ships that open just when needed...convenience.

though it would be funny to have them making contact and the ambassador goes 'splat'

LOL!!!!! That would be something to see. I bet they do in bloopers and stuff. Like if the door switch was jammed when it wasn't supposed to be. It would make a funny scene!

Yeah there must be scope for an episode where they splat someone important by accident, like in "Fair Game" , when
