guys & gals

i'm one of those tomboy girls..the one that played kickball during recess instead of standing around comparing the latest hair do...and once i started working i started working in the production dept at the station...where i was the first female employee they'd had in years...
and i whole heartedly agree that as long as she's capable...let a woman do whatever job she wants...

Spookypumkin you make me feel old with that. I saw most of Red Dwarf first time round.

Markpud, my cousin is Colin Hendry. I like to name drop (cringe) but I dont really know him I only meet him at family gatherings. But I like to show family support.:D

the reason i don't like stereotyping is cos of all this crap about teens beating up old ladies

I must have missed something. What crap about teens beating up old ladies?

I remember Red Dwarf first time round AND Blakes Seven, not to mention the original Star Trek. So I guess I must be an old lady! :D

But I'll tell you something, I could still make a good account of myself if some teen tried to beat me up. He/she/they may find that they bit off more than they could chew!

Don't know what it's like where you guys live, but where I am, it's more likely to be some middleaged guy beating the old folk up than a teenager.

Dont worry about it Spookypumpkin.

Old is just a state of mind. You'll always be young as long as you believe it. :D

Don't know about that Markpud!!!

Of course I believe it. I just have to see my Dad!!!:D

I can imagine it now:

Gilraen: "Dad, can I invite all my friends that I met on the internet to come and meet Colin??"

Dad: "aaaaaaagggghhhh"

;)

You might be right there Mark. :D
I just meant that my dads young at heart. ;)

I don't know quite what I'd do if I ever met anyone I talk to on here. For a start most of them live out of my country, let alone area.
And I'm really going to ask those who do live in the UK round.
