Highlander III

yes yes -- but you should have them all on-hand --

what if an important Highlander question arises and you absolutely MUST find the answer??????

well...not that I think that you shouldn't have all the movies and episodes and stuff.....but you could always look on the web if you had to know the answer for something right away...

the last few days -- my neice gave me her cold and i had the biggest headache -- (kinda still do) - so i wasn't on the computer much ----

so - see -- there are times i might not be around ---

i am - a bit -- at least i can breathe now -- Sunday and Monday? nope -- not able - stuffed up head and all that -- but today's been better --

hopefully this thing will be gone by the weekend --

thank you very much --

okay - getting back on topic here ---

Highlander III --

anything anyone wants to know? considering Dru hasn't seen it --

i will say, that the special effects were pretty cool --- the storyline needed a lot of work, but the effects were the redeeming factor -- the morphing/illusion thing that Kane could do was well-done - all those computer images and such ---

any other opinions on this from those who have seen it??

Special effects were indeed very cool...I liked the way they had Kane and them trapped in the mountain...it was a better explanation on why there were more immortals after the first movie

yeah - considering they made this one w/ the thought that the 2nd one never happened (ie: it was like a bad dream Connor had one night -- lemme say that was one HELL of a dream!) -- anyway ------ they still goofed! it was annoying that there was almost NO mention of Brenda -- but, i'm sure i've mentioned that many times ---

i did like the 'immies locked in the mtn' thing --- but i hated Morrocco and the adopted kid --- that made NO sense to me -- (this movie, in general, annoys me --- can ya tell?)

 nope...couldn't tell in the least ;)

I was a little troubled by the kid thing myself...did he actually survive the movie...and if so...what in the heck happened to him later?

good question -- guess we never find out --- he's not in the 4th movie -- so, did they make that one under the impression that the 3rd one didn't exist?? what is up w/ these guys? next they'll be telling us the original movie didn't exist and all we know of Connor will have come from his one little stint in the series ---

ARGH!!!!!

*shuders* I don't even want to think of that......

neither do i -- but that seems to be the direction DPP is taking --

i seriously hope they DON'T forget all from the 1st movie - but apparently they really didn't care b/c they just made stuff up when they did the series - and they killed Connor (who's NOT dead) in the 4th movie --- argh ---- guess we'll just have to write our OWN version of the Highlander Universe ---

maybe we should start a thread about that...what we would do if we were in control type of thing...

Long Live Connor...the true Highlander!

sorry...I always do that when endgame comes up in conversation...

perhaps we should ---

and yes -- LONG LIVE CONNOR! (who is NOT dead!)

i still wanna know where that kid went - Connor's son -- what the heck happened to him? guess he got lost in the void of DPP's firm belief that no one cares about any character but Duncan ---

we'll have to recitfy that one!
