this is true -- b/c we all know that Connor is the real "Highlander" -- There can be only one! may it be, Connor MacLeod (but only if it can't be Methos!)

Yep. Personally I think the whole "Game" is a bunch of bull anyway. Just something that the immortals have lived with for so long that they take it as gospel. So there can be more than one as far as I'm concerned. ;-)

The best part of Endgame were the fight sequences methinks...and any Methosness that trickled in.

Almost everything else I coulda done without.

Especially a particular gratuitous scene with Duncan and that woman, whatshername....bleck.

I don't think I'll go into anything else because basically I considered the movie a load of crud.

All here who want a Methos and Joe show, say aye!

while i went to Endgame and enjoyed it, i'm holding off buying it till i can get the DVD, because i think that the second full length cut is what i want to watch. Seriously, i cried during one whole scene, and i think most people know which one it is. I'm a really big fan of Connor.... and i didnt think that it was really true to his character to do what he did in that movie. doesn't mean that all the movie was bad, in fact i enjoyed the majority of it, but, i just couldn't watch connor.... well.... die

yep....they really messed up Connors character in this movie...no way would he be like that....not in a billion years...I have this one on DVD already...but I only watched it once *shrugs*

i'm sorry, but i think Methos would have stepped in there, he seems like the type of person who would have stopped Duncan from doing something that he would regret for the rest of his life. that might sound a little off the wall, but i think Duncan will regret it for a very long time, because connor was like a brother to him, his teacher. methos might seem like he is appathetic about thw hole thing..... but he does care about duncan and i think he cares about connor as well, so he wouldn't have let it happen.

ok - you can discuss any part of endgame you want in this thread -- why? b/c it's the endgame thread - as the thread title says -- so anyone who's here should know they will get spoilers for the movie -- so - you can say -- dammit! why did Connor have to die! and no one will care -- they should already know!! (okay - i'm not really the moderator - but just thought i'd let ya know --- i'm so nice!) <shut up ana!>

okay - yes - this movie was a big screw up -- and it was good up until that point on the roof -- well - except the sanctuary thing which was so totally NOT Connor i could have shot the screen!

i'm a big one for characterization -- write the character correctly or i'll hate your story? know what i mean? unless you're writing AU or non-canon based stuff -- Endgame was supposed to be canon based -- and well - they screwed up -- HUGE!!
