in it he gives lots of spoilers...so if you're curious read on, if you don't want to know, hit that back button...and i'm just repeating what's been posted on the lists so...if it ends up being wrong...we'll all be surprised huh?
[and stuff in these is my editorial comments <G>]
Okay...before people start asking as to what was said..I'll post them here.
SPOILER WARNING FOR SEASON 5!!! IF YOU DON'T WANT TO KNOW A THING ABOUT
IT...STOP READING THIS NOW!!!
"Lots of Sam in Season 5" [YES!!!!!]
"Episode 2 of next season will be a huuuge Teal'c episode. Everything you wanted
to know about our fave Jaffa but were afraid to ask."
When asked about Crossroads and Teal'c's supposed "affair" since some still
refuse to believe that he was divorced, Moor said this: "Actually, Peter (Peter
DeLuise) was annoyed with that particular oversight. In the first draft of his
script, he informed us that he and Drayac were divorced (or the Chulak
equivalent thereof)."
When someone said that they liked Michael Shanks haircut for season 4, Moor
said: "You'll really dig Jack's new afro." [now this is scary, it was hats in season 4 now it's a fro?]
"Actually, we're presently shooting a Daniel episode (written by Peter
DeLuise)."
"We're shooting episode 6 (I believe) and have up to episode 15 slotted."
There are no plans to have the boy from Show and Tell return.
Cassie will return in either episode #5 or #6 of Season 5.
About The Other Side and Rene Auberjonois: "Rene was a terrific actor to work
with. He kept joking that we should bring him back as his evil twin brother."
"Also, while watching dailies of The Other Side, we were watching the scene
where Rene brings out "all the knowledge of his people" in this crystal thingie.
I joked: "Presenting the award for best scifi series, Rene Aubejenois"."
"John De Lancie just shot back-to-back SG-1 episodes - and may be back for
more."[goody...i'm drooling already]
When asked about Voyager parallels: "As for the Voyager parallels, I wouldn't
actually start drawing comparisons until some stories begin to focus on SG-1's
attempts to find their way home…"
"Upgrades was one of my fave episodes from season 4. Robert Cooper did an
amazing job on the rewrite. A lot of the time, the fans don't realize how much
of the "good lines", or even a sizable part of the script, are actually written
by either Brad and Robert. They've done some major rewrites on certain scripts."
"Robert is not only a great guy, but he comes up with some of the funniest lines
ever."
A Robert Cooper line: "Because the Tollan feel that lesser races cannot be
trusted with technology."
When the Tollans were brought up: "Hate the Tollan? Then you won't want to miss
season 5." [again, goody]
"We'll be seeing Narim and Travell this season."
When asked about the looming actors strike in Hollywood: "The strike may affect
the show. But I have a feeling that we'll be okay."
On Crossroads: "Everyone loved the actress who played Shau'nac. With a bit of
foresight, she may have survived to become a recurring character."
"Also, in the first draft of the script, Teal'c kills Tanith and gets his
revenge."
"It was Brad's idea to keep Tanith around. I think it was the right choice."[oh yeah]
Talking about MGM and releasing DVD's: "Peter did the voice over commentary for
WOO and invited Paul and I to join him on Prodigy."
"For the DVD. I'm not sure when we'll be doing the commentary for Prodigy but it
will include me singing me the words to the Stargate theme. It was one of the
first things Paul (writing partner Paul Mullie) and I wrote when we joined the
staff. Needless to say, Brad and Rob were very concerned."
"We've got a big two-parter planned for mid-season."
"This episode will offer us insight into the inner workings of System Lords
alliance."
"We'll be checking in on some of our allies."
"More Tanith and Osiris."
And now for the bombshell: "Romance is in the cards for Carter this season." And
then followed by: "Oops. I've said too much."
[oh boy...more shipper wars...]
No news yet on season 6 but he keeps hearing the words "soon" as to when they'll
know about it.
