Cassandra, the little girl from the season one episode singularity, returns this year with some
very grown up problems in Rite of Passage. "She's dying" writes peter deluise. "Cassandra's
evolving at a super fast rate and its killing her. She starts demonstrating telekinetic abilities and
we have no idea why. We know from Singularity that the Goa'uld turned her into a human
bomb to be used in a plan to destroy the SGC. In this story, we discover that they also
experimented on her in other ways. Sg-1 returns to Cassandra's planet in the hope of finding
something that will help save her. Its a great story, especially for Doc Frasier."
Beast of Burden is a follow up to season four's The First Ones, in which Daniel made friends
with a young unas named Chaka. Since then Chaka and his kind have been enslaved by a
humanoid race the Unas were once masters of. SG-1 is put in the position of having to decide
if they are morally obligated to liberate the Unas from bondage.
Russians, cigarettes and the ancient Babylonian god Marduk all have a part to play in the
Tomb. "Essentially we have to launch a recovery mission to find a Russian Stargate team that
went misisng off-world" says Writer Paul Mullie. "However its a joint effort with us and
another Russian team."
Between the Two Fires features one of SG-1s oldest allies, the Tollan and alludes to what
Joseph Mallozzi calls "a bigger badder enemy" According to Peter DeLuise. "This bad guy is
so butch that even a Tollan ion cannon has no effect on his ship."
The next episode 2001 is a sequel to 2010 and involves SG-1s ill-fated contact with the
Aschen. They meet them in 2001 in a totally different way.
Desperate Measures tells the story of a wealthy man who is critically ill and finances a program
to have a Goa'uld symbiote implanted in him that will save his life. Since Carter was once host
to a symbiote, she's kidnapped and forced to assist with the procedure. In order to find her
Jack must team up with an old nemesis Maybourne.
Teal'c Interrupted (formaly the Warrior) came from Christopher Judge himself. It centres
around a charismatic Jaffa leaderwho attempts to organise a Jaffa rebellion against the Goa'uld.
Fail Safe, sees Sg-1 need to stop an asteroid headed towards Earth.
Fragile Balance, sees the Asgard story arc continue and introduces a new character to the show.
