Season 6 and the meaning of stargate

I am not into politics, I actually think they're all manipulating power mongers who don't have our interests in mind, good thing I ain't old enough to vote yet. I thought when John Prescott punched that man was hilarious, I don't prefer any of the parties, so I wouldn't vote, but I don't want to see Tony Blair to be Prime Minister again!

I trust no politicians. I just watch the news. Its rather pathetic the situations they end up in. Just think Prescott, Mandelson, Blair....., the list goes on. Stupid men. Unless you're an absolute supporter, what makes them think we're ever going to vote for them. Everything important in this country goes from bad to worse, at least we know who to blame.

exactly sci fi
like my friend says, elections is the process in which we pick whose gunna ruin the country next!:D

But women aren't all that good either, look at Margret Thatcher she didn't do the country too much good either. I just say, let kids run the country, that should be fun, or put some of the members of this forum up for election, with a promise of stargate and other sci-fi shows on every day they'll definately vote for us ;) A child could run the country better than the prime minister does at the moment :rolly2:

Hey the Prime Minister has already ruined the country, what harm could ickle old us do  :D

oooooo, you'll be surprised at wot 'ickle old us could do given the chance............. :D

Couldn't be worse than what he's done, could it  :naughty:

Hee hee, I'd prefer the glowing eyed gold alien n e day compared to slimy Blair, yuk :dead:

Isn't it a line of Douglas Adam's that:
'The man who most wants to rule the country is the one man who under no circumstances should be allowed to do so'
Something of the sort?

mmmm maybe we should use that here in the UK... we are about to have our national vote next week....

im not old enuff to vote...so dont look at me if the country is ruined (thats if it isnt already....*cough* millenium dome *cough*)

Very good.... well when u are old enough to vote.. dont waste it...

.........ie. if and when i am up for election, vote for me! I promise U all 24/7 of stargate!:D

All that party politics.....

Well, after an incredibly dull campiagn, where the highlight was a fat man getting hit by an egg, it's all over. Consituancies aside, we're (UK, Americans have.....Bush) stuck with Blair for four more years:rolleyes: . And Hauge's resigned. Who said that if you put a baby up next to Hauge, you wouldn't be able to tell the difference. :D

What ya mean stuck with Blair........ He is the best thing this country has had for years...

well, he certainly is better than all of his opposition, but he still hasn't actually done n e thing he promised he would..........let's hope he does this time round...........

What's he done that's so great?

The continuing problems just annoy me. And if I need to name them.
Serena's right, and there's no real difference from his plans this time then it was last time around.
The only person Blair's better than is Thatcher. Not that that would be too difficult.

It could be a lot worse.

Well i am not gonna turn this into a political row.. but believe me if the Conservatives were still in we would be in a worse state....
