Shelby, the Galaxy Bookshop in Sydney stocks all of the stargate books - the ones by Ashley McConnell which are in-line with the TV show and the other bloke (can't remember his name) which are spin-offs of the movie (ie Jack is like he was when played by Kurt Russell).

I've got The First Amendment by Ashley McConnell which I've only just started reading. Seems okay. There's some different people in it. It's a similar story to Secrets - "a young reporter is smuggled into Cheyenne. He's witnessed the stargate in action and wants answers. But he'll get much more than a headline when Col. Jack O'Neill and his team decide to show him exactly how dangerous the universe can be........" (from the back cover)

The details for Galaxy Bookshop are:

They also have a brilliant free newletter called Nexus, which is about 10 pages long. Comes out every month. Reviews what's new. Competitions to win books etc. Just ring them up and put yourself on the list. Or if you like, I can do that for you when I'm in Sydney on the 9th July.

I've been going to Galaxy since I was about 15 when it was in a really dingy grotty shop in Bathurst Street. Always stocked the way cheaper US versions of books. Sort of still does. But it now has vidz, magazines, collectibles, clothing, posters... pretty much everything.

i remember reading somewhere that i only had one stargate book... well I HAVE 5!!!!!! Shelby, just try Dymocks, they did all my international ordering (BTW:the Stargate MOvie book is out of print)

It is the corrections after the misprints that make the misprints rare! I think Gatecon has it correcly... but how long one has to wait to have the value determined is up to the market.

it looks ok, but it doesn't look much like jack, his uniform (i was trying to make it look like his espionage one, like the one he wore on Apoph ship in series one) it's about 50cm tall and he's wearing a cap with the earth PoO on it.....

it might be while before i have a pic up because i just used up my camera's film

I love it when they wear the black uniform. It' so cool. I also like what Jack and Sam were wearing in The Light. It was fatigues, but they were a new colour.
