Boy do I agree that the portrayal of Daniel as the universal, helpless victim it nauseating. Seriously, he's quite capable.

Anyhooo, I find it very easy to get into his and Jack's head. Teal'c *is* becoming easier, but Sam? Nope. I think I tend to project what I'd be like if I were on a team with 3 hotties.

I don't think I have to say that a fic like that would be highly inaccurate and most likely inappropriate. Tee hee!

I don't particularly like the character of Sam, but having said that, maybe she needs to be written about by someone who was a female in the military and knows what it's really like to be a woman in what men consider to be 'their' world.

Rowan springs to mind. She's a good writer, or I could possibly take a crack at it, although I was in the British military so I may get some of the US military side wrong.
