Hey Everyone,
Who's your favourite System Lord and Why?

I like Heru'r the best, even though he was only in it for a few eps. He had the best voice and I just loved his earings. What a shame that he came to a very uneventful death.

Hathor is my favorite [Also among the deceased ]

Goddess of sex, drugs and rock and roll.

You gotta admitt, she had style. Got her killed when she pissed Jack off a bit much.... but she had style...

Sokhar has the best voice in syndication... sounds disembodied.

He has on a red velvet cloak.

His Jaffa have pentagram tattoos.

HE'S THE DEVIL!

Oh yeah, he has a partical beam cannon, ppl think he's an Unas (Daniel did when he saw the image), and he lives in "Hell". What else do you need?

And why do the best ones die first? Heru'ur, Hathor, Sokhar (died VERY stupid death, got caught in a chain reaction. Where's the fun in that?)

I just had to vote Hathor. You gotta admire a woman who can just waltz her way into the base and start drugging the men right under each others noses.

Appohis is definately my fav enemy, I love him, hes a great baddie, want to see more of him in the future

I like Apophis.... a very nasty dude. Wish they could have shown a reaction to his beloved Amonet's death. He really loved that snake... and it seemed to be returned. Hope he gets to be less cartoonish in the future and more dementional. Loved also what Peter Williams has done in Serpent's Song with Apophis and the scribe host... That whole show was excellent!

i like Heru'ur -- dunno why, really - he was just - interesting --

not to mention - that scene where Jack takes him out by throwing a knife through his hand -- (okay, so that's not really good for Heru'ur, but it's a cool scene)

my problem w/ Apophis -- anyone else notice this? - he's a lot like MacGyver's arch-nemesis - Murdoc - you know - the guy who just would never friggin' die! every time they think they've gotten rid of Apophis, he just comes back -- at least they don't have Jack saying -- 'i know he's not dead' or things of that nature like MacGyver always said - the 'you don't know murdoc' lines and such -----

I voted for Osiris, mostly on potential for future meyham. Hathor's a popsicle, Cronus's body is a tourist attraction on Darien's planet, Nirti and Yu are missing in action, Sokar and Heru'ur are cosmic dust, but s/he's still out there. So I'm gonna vote for s/him. It? Them? Whatever.

Well, it seems so far the Our Beloved Hathor is winning the poll. That's interesting. Anyone think we'll ever see her again, or in the words of Jack:
"She's dead right, please tell me she's dead."

Anyways, I read a spoiler at SG1Fans.net that Joseph Mallozzi said that he has some new System Lords in store for us. Including some more women. That should be pretty cool. The more System Lords the better. It let's us learn more about the Goa'uld. But I think that Apophis wil still be the main threat, how could anyone want to kill this guy, he's just so cool. You gotta love him.

Sorry guys, for me it just has to be Cronos, even if he is six foot under pushing the daisies up. He had a smooth oily, wonderful way with him. And a really sinister, powerful presence. He didn't even have to say much. Just be there. The others were just pure balls of aggression, apart from Yu. Cronos and Yu were the only ones I rated.

Osiris is just a drippy piece of cr*p..... I still think she/he'd be more at home shopping in Harrods.....

The others are just a waste of space..... especially Apophis. I have no idea why everyone likes that character. He's a joke.

I think it'll be interesting to see some different system lords. Time to have some fun.

Good thing the egyptians had a large pantheon, no?
