Should we be concerned shippers?

Well, how else can you explain the fact that Sam smiles at ALL of Jack's dumb jokes? Shippy shippy shippy

They've been renewed for a season six. YIPEEEEE! :D :flash:

In the first season, when Sam and Jack are stranded in Antartica, Jack says "that's my sidearm, I swear", He is lying on his back, she's lying next to him. How could it be anything else? or maybe I just didn't get the joke!

Well, she is kind snuggled half on top of him, & doesn't he ware his side arm on the other side. I've noted that it's always on his right leg, & just because he broke his right leg, I doubt he's move it to his left when there's not exactly going to be any use for it stuck in a glacier. Jack blows Sam a kiss when she's getting ready to leave him & climb the suface...I actually missed it the first few times I watched it...but then that's just more evidence that Jack likes Sam not Sam liking Jack. However, bla bla bla, I still think there's lots of evidence pointing to Sam also likeing Jack. Well, hey, they're engaged and they are married in alternate realities, 2 out of 3 is pretty good.

i LOVE HOW JACK IS ALWAYS TELLING SAM TO "CAN IT" WHEN SHE STARTS WITH HER SCIENTIFIC TALK. hOWEVER IT SEEMS MORE LIKE HE IS MORE INTO HER THEN SHE IS. SHE IS LIKE WAY TO INTO HER JOB TO GIVE HIM A SECIND GLANCE, YET WHEN SHE SHES HIM WITH THAT CHICK IN A HUNDRED DAYS SHE LOOKS JEALOUS. iM WAY CONFUSED ABOUT HER SIGNALS.......IT SEEMS LIK SHE DOESN'T KNOW WHAT SHE WANTS....UNTIL SHE FIGURES OUT WHAT SHE WANTS ANY CHANCE OF A RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN THEM IS PURE FICTION.

RoXy *three cheers for the princess!*:kisses: :kisses:

I think Sam is just a litle better at hiding her feelings since she & he know that it's forbidden.

A lively discussion!!

I have to agree with those who think there is an attraction shown on both sides.

I wouldn't want the Jack-Sam thing to dominate storylines either, but I don't think it has. It has added something to the mix though.

The writers know that they have a good thing going here, and as pointed out already, they will keep us waiting, just like the X-files, until the end.

dont you just hate it when that

happens?

Spoiler Season 4

I was watching Beneath the surface yesterday, even when they lost their memories & were stamped with different pesonalities, Jack & Sam still managed to be touchy-fealy towards each other & they are disapointed at the end when they realize, so Colonel, so Major.

I think it does add something to the show and makes it interesting as I have said before I think that it makes it more interesting with the will they won't they aspect.
:D

a little ust in the show is fun...i don't mind it in the show just not as the show...this is not as the stargate turns.

(though they will end up together in 43 episodes...just have this feeling)

the sidearm joke, yeah jack wears his pistol on his right side and sam was lying on the left so...whatever she was feeling it wasn't his gun and i'll drop that one right there before padders screams.:D

jack definitly likes her, and she likes him, though i think there's also a bit of hero worship there at least at the beginning. course they also have to consider all the baggage both of them are carrying around.

jack's divorced, sam broke off her engagement, and killed another guy who liked her, since he is her co they are forbidden by regs to fraternize. if anyone so much as suspected there was anything going on between them, every commendation or promotion she's had since joining the sgc would be tainted. and if it came to a court martial, jack would likely be 'retired' assuming he accepted most of the blame(it is assumed that the 'dominate' personality could force the subordinate one...jack's the boss so it's assumed that he would/could have forced or coerced her into it. now if sam got out of it her career would basically be over. as far as everyone would be concerned she 'slept' her way to where she is and she'd likely be a major until she retired(maybe they'd give her a promotion to lt. colonel upon her retirement).

now if jack isn't divorced (and they're never said in canon if he & sara are divorced or just separated) then sam would be guilty of adultry and both of their careers would be toast.

there is so much on the line you can't blame them for taking it slow.

Is it just me or wasn't Jack's identity stamp in Season 4 in Betheath the Surface the same as the guy Sam was supposed to marry? Jonas or Jona or something. If that's the case, maybe that's why Sam was attracted to Jack becasue the name was familiar? Not suporting that theory myself as I'm a big Sam'n'Jack shipper, but it was a thought that occured to me today.

Thing is, if they were to get together I think Sam would make the first move.
To me, she seems to be the one who controls what level the relationship is on.
Through her lines like (In D&C):
Sam: "None of this has to leave this room"
Jack: "Are we okay with that?"
Sam: "Yes sir"

... I could think of several more.... but I don't want to;) :D ;)

ya I think you right. Plus I think it's better that way. People fall for their superiors all the time, but it would be bad if a superior would hit on their subordinates (is that the right word?). Jack would probably get into more sh*t than Sam?
