Should we be concerned shippers?

ya I think you right. Plus I think it's better that way. People fall for their superiors all the time, but it would be bad if a superior would hit on their subordinates (is that the right word?). Jack would probably get into more sh*t than Sam?

maybe...maybe not. chances are jack would get retired but if sam stayed in...her career would be over. she'd likely be a major until she retired or quit...maybe they'd give her lt. colonel at the end but she'd forever be 'marked' as 'tainted' (since jack was her co it would be assumed every review, performance evaluation etc was influenced by their relationship.)

would we like him as much if wasn't so naughty?

First off, not a Sam/Jack shipper.

Anywayz, someone said they didn't mind the relationship as long as it didn't affect the episodes and force them to focus soley on the 'ship. One question? Didn't ya see Entity? You couldn't fit more UST or angst into an ep if you tried.

Give me a nice Sam/Jack FRIENDship, and I'll be happy.

I have just been watching a dvd and on there it has an interview with AT and this is some of what she has to say on the Sam/Jack thing. (its not word for word)

"They should never be together! Yeah there is an attraction but it should be tampered with the fact that its never going to happen.
We have admitted that we love each other or would die for each other and not just because we are in the military but that is it"

RDA just said not to rule it out.

Just thought that you would like to know their views on it all

Even though there's a part of me that wants Sam and Jack to find happiness together, I think AT is right. When it comes to television and film, often a well written line or a meaning look from one character to another can sometimes say so much more than an actual kiss, which can sometimes spoil it.

i personally like the FRIENDship part of it. face it, these four guys are gonna be tight with each other. it's just the nature of what they do. so let them have fun...keeping thier clothes on.

i've never got hot under the collar about the shippiness cuase TPTB have sworn it wasn't going to happen. (and let's not get into season 4...i'm rewatching some of htem and cringing my way through it) i have memories of what happened to shows when they killed the UST by getting the characters togherher....it killed the show. sam & jack are two of 4 main characters and 2 of several supporting characters on the show and if it becomes the sam and jack hour it will ruin ti for a lot of us.

little bits of ust are fine with me...the 'welcome to my life', or the look sam gives jack when urgo is talking about beaches and bikinis but when they start knocking boots it stops being stargate and starts being a soap opera.

personally i think htey will sorta end up together in the end...which means we have 42 (if the season 6 rumor is indeed true) episodes to wait through so...let's all be patient cause it's gonna be a long ride

I have my eyes crossed 24/7

That's got to hurt.

I don't know about the "blow a kiss good-bye" in Solutudes, but I now understand that O'Neill did not say "Oh, Sam." near the end. I finally get that scene. Major shipper action.

More fun is the comparasion of Sam's comforting to the "men!" glare she gives O'Neill when he said he was all right, was not, and was just being a tough-guy. And this plays with how Sara complains to O'Neill in "Cold Lazarus" that he shut her out.

I think not!

it would be funny if Sam kissed him............yea more power to women!

No, it wouldn't be funny. It would just mess up the dynamics of the group and then become all sappy. Has anyone seen Farscape recently? I rest my case.
