Sam's Guyish hair cut.

i have short hair. almost as short as sam and brushed a la isabell in roswell (the ep with the doubles).
some people wear it ok but some don't..

I like it short! I too have short hair...I'm bored of the girls-should-have-long-hair stuff. I loved her hair in S5 Drastic Measures. I think it's cute!:twirl: That POV long hair is weird. Whenever I watch that ep I feel the urge to ruffle it coz it's just hanging there. Leave it short!

I have to agree with ILSTSG. That buzz cut makes her look like completely butch (not that there's anything wrong with that). Several times since then I've thought she was a man from behind. (Of course, seeing her wearing combat boots and working on that motorcycle doesn't help, it just reinforces the butch image.) That, more than anything is why I just can't take the shippers too seriously.

it wasn't really a buzz cut but that really short shaggy cut in BTS...let's just say it's not a cut i'd ever wear. i liked her season 3 hair and sorta like it right now.

but heck, it ain't my hair, as long as she and her hubby like it...works for me

I like it short.

I prefer it to the longer hairstyle from the earlier seasons.

I also like how it is sometimes "messy" although you can tell that the makeup crew ruffled her hair on purpose and then sprayed it into place.

The short hairstyle (but not the too-short from The Light) suits her face, and personality, perfectly.

I personally think that either of the season four sam haircuts look a lot better than earlier styles (for the blokes too - short hair is deinitely sexier for them).

The AWFUL wig from point of view was just ridiculous - especially considering that the other alternate reality sam (from "there but for the grace of god") had a pretty convincing (and nice!) wig going on.....

i just watched the season four ep "the light" and was gratified to notice that both sam and jack, after taking off their gas masks, kept the ruffled hair effect for a few scenes! ten out of ten for the continuity peeps!

I love her short BTS hairstyle! She has such an gleeful, impish face and the short hair really displays her face beautifully. You can see that she has such a great sense of humour, her facial expressions behind Jack's back etc! The short hair looks kind of ruffled, just got out of bed.

After reading this entire thread, I agree with ILStSg. She looks like a dyke. And I don't care what is and is not regulation. If we've managed to accept a stargate, little grey Roswell guys, and power-hungry madmen dressed like Cleopatra, then regulations be da**ed. She's a woman. Nah, I still think short hair can be really feminine and girlish! It's so practical too, can you imagine Sam trying to flick back her hair as she fires her P90?!

I agree really long hair wouldn't do, but the cut she had on "D&C" was great. It was also longer in "Window of Opportunity," and she didn't seem to have any trouble putting a cap on it.
