yeppers....and I don't know about you guys but I thought that those eps and "Indescretions" were about the only reason to even watch season six...so your not missing much Markpud

well I'd like to see the full run of S6 anyway for completenesses sake (its only 12-13 eppys anyway isnt it). Then once i've finished with the series I could finally watch Endgame :D

She had a very bad run-in w/ the Hunters (renegade watchers) -- and refuses to obey that rule if her 'assignment' is in danger of dying -- or potentially meeting a fatal experience --

i haven't fully developed the 'run-in' yet - so i can't give further details ---- but she has good reasons for her refusal to follow that 'order'

interesting reading the ep guides on the official site.. they admit that they were trying out ideas for spin offs.. also in some of the stuff there i read an apology for the killing off of Fitz and Rebecca amongst others....

they actually apologized for killing off two of the most likable characters in the whole series?? shocker!!

the only one i can forgive them for is Darius - b/c they didn't kill him off by choice -- Werner Stocker died - he had a brain tumor - and it would be really hard to keep him alive w/ the few pieces of stock footage they had (which they used in his 'last' episode, b/c Stocker couldn't get to the set that day -- read this on a site somewhere - can't remember where or when - it's been a while) so - for Darius - they are forgiven, however - the others? no way - i liked Rebecca -- she was a wonderful character - and we're not sure how old she was --- and i still think she had something to do w/ Methos turning to the side of 'good' after the horsemen -- and would explain how he knows Amanda --- (b/c i'm POSTIVE they knew each other long b4 Amanda ever met Duncna) ---

it was also funny to read for the 2nd-last episode "To Be" ..

"I like Stan a lot, but I have to say, I brought back Richie and I killed him again" - David Abramowitz :D

hehehehe --

see - i don't particularly mind Stan -- he was in an ep of JAG - and even tho he was an ass - he wasn't as bad as Richie - he had some character - and didn't act like a wuss most of the time --

i just don't like Richie -- he wasn't a strong character in my opinion -- tho - i still don't understand why AP wanted him gone - oh well --- there are other things they could have done w/ that character --- send him off to join the circus or something - oh wait - Amanda already did that -- guess Richie would have to do something else --

they killed him off so Duncan could have a bigger guilt complex. I liked Richie...he needed some growth but I liked him. I agree with you H2...they could have found another way for him to leave without killing him off.

i don't mind watching shows about characters i don't particularly like -- but don't shove down my throat that i'm supposed to like Duncan just b/c he's the main character -- if he has friends more likable than he - great - let us - the fans - like his friends better - not everyone is gonna like Duncan - and believe me!! (to the PTB if they are listening) - NOT EVERYONE IS A DUNCAN FAN!! FOR CRYING OUT LOUD!! h-e-l-l-o!!

why i don't like Duncan: (and this is all post-season 3)

1) boyscout! what the heck is that about?
2) he kills off all his friends
3) he won't kill women b/c he's a big wuss
4) he has that 'holier-than-thou' attitude all the time (see any ep where he tells someone else the way they SHOULD do something)

is that enough?

reasons why Methos is a better character:

1) he's got guts (substitute the other word if you choose! ;) )
2) he'll kill whomever he must - w/ the one exception of Kronos - but he gave a valid argument for that one)
3) he doesn't try to tell everyone how to live his/her life
4) he doesn't sleep w/ everything that breathes
5) he's romantic as hell! (see ep: Timeless)

need i go on???

nope...that about sums it up for me too...add to the Duncan list that there was just something about him that bugged the heck out of me that I still can't put a finger on....

oh and that Methos do what it takes to get a job done. It might not always be the "good" way...but it's always done.

yeah - there's just something about Duncan that bothers me - i just can't put my finger on it ---

Methos - he's just so elusive - and it's awesome --

well yeah...but I thought was pretty self-evident so I didn't bother putting it on my list...;)

umm well I dunno about that ;)

Highlander hasn't had a lot of female eye-candy really, tess was nice I guess, amanda...erm...

yeah - apparently DPP thought that only women were Highlander fans, and only brought in AP (who isn't all that hot in my book - mainly b/c he's an arrogant ass - immediate dropping of like 50 pts, ya know?) -- good thing there was PW and Roger Daltry (who's kinda cute in a way), Werner Stocker was actually quite attractive - and he had a great accent ---

but - back to the women -- there was Tessa, Amanda, Rebecca (tho they killed her too soon), Nefertiri (uh - ), Kristen, Ceirdwyn (who's one of the most popular of the chic-immies), Cassandra (we'll not go there - she's a horrible actress) -- any others??

i won't mention all of the 'spin-off' potentials from season 6, b/c markpud hasn't seen it yet -- but - they were nothing to get excited over - the best one was the chic who was Ivanova on Babylon 5 ---

but -- yeah - the men got screwed on this show ----

Actually Tracy Scoggins (Cassandra) is my third cousin on my mom's side. And your right...she's not a very good actress.
