Rumor -- New Movie

Yep, that's it - i read on the web that DPP is looking at making a new movie -- tentatively titled -- "The Source", written by the same guy who wrote Endgame (which means it will probably suck) -- don't know when it's due out or anything else about it -- but as i find more info, i'll clue you in ---

umm - probably not -- tho that would be ideal --- somehow w/ DPP behind it - i don't see that happening

i do that all the time ---

i rant about the PTB for every show i watch ---- well -- most of them ---


L&O doesn't really require rants against it's own PTB's - just the one's at NBC, and Stargate i don't usually get too upset about - but everything else -- - b/c the PTB don't pay attn to canon like they should -----

that is b/c they are stupid --- they forget to pay attn to characters and canon and then wonder why the fans get pissed b/c something doesn't mesh right ---

PTB need to understand that the fans will find even the tiniest of errors made and will expand it to epic proportions -- so the PTB should have a group of ppl whose sole responsibility it is is to find canon info and make sure there are no plot holes ----

ahhh...but that would mean hiring more people which wouldn't be cost effective...especially considering that most of the fans are going to watch it anyway regardless of any holes in cannon

thats a very good point, so they know that they chould pay attention, but that they can get away with not doing

but - you'd figure if they really wanted to make money off the show, they would take the extra little steps to make sure they had the canon right so the show could continue for a longer period of time --

(this is probably why Law & Order is so successful - there isn't a lot of 'canon' -- character-wise anyway -- to keep track of, so there's less chance they'll screw up)


btw -- are you aware that Highlander was cancelled b/c Adrian Paul wanted to persue 'a movie career'? yep - that's why we had no further eps of Highlander (and probably why season 6 sucked so bad - AP didn't wanna do it anymore) --- (this is kinda one of the other reasons i don't like Duncan very much - his actor was an @$$)
