5.22: Revelations

Yeah, me too, but won't they be kinda rushing things, since it's not a two part ep. . . They'll be cramming all this stuff into one ep. !
Oh well, I can't wait !:dead: :alienooh: :rolly2:
The truth is out there

1) It wasn't a Ha'tak firing at another Ha'tak; it was an Asgard ship firing at a Ha'tak, but not being able to penetrate the Gould's new shields (probably the ones talked about in 'Between Two Fires': "These new shields give them a decided advantage" -Sam in Between 2 Fires.

2) SPOILER: SUMMIT/LAST STAND

I already knew that, but how do we know that Anubis is not an assumed name that Apophis is now living under?

That's true, but it would be kinda stupid. I was thinking about that hybrid thing, maybe that white person in the pod was a human asguard hybrid, or something like that. They could be making a new race. That would be cool.

Oh, why not? They did it to Danny! :angryfire :angryfire :angryfire :angryfire :angryfire :angryfire

Best wishes,

Just finished on Sky one......

Not bad, but it did seem a bit a rushed... As Jack said:

"Thats it?"

But I liked the ending, ole' Danny's still around ;)

Well!!! How *lame* can you get???!!!

I mean, sometimes ya have use deus ex machina, but that?! Like they suddenly realized there wasn't another episode left so they'd better wrap it up P.D.Q.

Liked Jack's knowing little smile at the end, though - cute
(I don't think that's a spoiler - is it? :iiworry: )

Best wishes,
Brassed off Hatshepsut

Yeah, I just saw it. It ended far too quickly! They could have made it better. I also liked Jack's little smile at the end,
and the little 'chat' they had with the Asguard about reproduction!

I thought it WAS a bit rushed also, but overall I liked it. The writers gave me my Asgard fix, although I did'nt like the comment (in the debreifing) about
Thor being in a coma
, but I liked the look of disgust on Tea'lc's face when Sam said "sexual reproduction" . It was humourus.

Also, the whole Anubis thing was cool:
But who is he, really? He kinda reminds me of the Emporer from Star Wars with that costume...
.

Another thing that I had already suspected, but they confirmed was that
the Asgard are ALL clones :alienooh:
.

Another thing that's left open is the question of

whether Osiris/Anubis got any important information from Thor's brain with the implant; i.e. was sg1's rescue mission too late?

So much for
the Gou'ald's new shields being superior to Asgard technology. The 3 Asgard ships at the end (one of which was Frey'er's) scared off the Gou'ald ha'tak
.

Well having just seen this episode here are a few truths after lots of speculation:

The new goau'ld is Anubis, and he looks kinda cool under a hooded cloak. You don't really get to see his face, I thought I did and he looked watery, but it's played by a different character to Apophis so I don't think it's him.

In the episode after an initial section where Sam is struggling to overcome Daniel's possible death/ascension we are shown Thor warning Osiris that she is approaching a protected planet and such behaviour will not be tolerated. After a short exchange of words Thor's ship opens fire on the mothership, but the new shields leave it undamaged. Then the SGC are contacted by Freia. Thor has been captured by Osiris and is being held on the ship. They want SG-1s help to rescue an Asgaard scientist on the planet surface. O'Neill agrees to take part in this mission and they dispatch their cloaked Goau'ld cargo ship. After a turbulent landing on a planet with harsh atmospheric conditions SG-1 are transported into an underground research facility. Jack communicates by the hologram pad with Thor and alerts him that they are trying to rescue him. Thor assures O'Neill that he would die before revealing Asgaard secrets.

The Asgaard scientist reveals to SG-1 that all Asgaard are in fact clones. They lost the ability to sexually reproduce 1000 years ago. The standard of copies is falling and they are dying out slowly as a race. An Asgaard ship from a long time ago crashed on the planet and one crew member, who represents a more genetically pure era of their history is preserved by cryogenics. All, including frozen alien, are transported to the cargo ship.

Anubis travels to Osiris' ship to conduct an interrogation. As he rings across O'Neill and Teal'c also ring in (the Asgaard transporters cannot work through the shields). The aim to cause the shields to fail allowing Thor and SG-1 to be transported to safety. As they search the ship, guided by Sam and the Asgaard scientist they are discovered by a Jaffa patrol. The holographic Sam acts as a decoy allowing them to escape, but Osiris is alerted to their presence on the ship and orders toxic gas, which renders everyone on certain levels, unconscious, at the cost of many trapped Jaffas lives in the engine room, as the engines are made to overheat. Two of the three Goau'ld ships depart for a battle with Lord Yu. Teal'c and O'Neill are locked in a holding cell but left unguarded (overcomplacency always gets it). Thor who has been linked using new goau'ld technology to the ships computer, in the hope of downloading his knowledge, uses this to his advantage and frees Teal'c and O'Neill. Unarmed they try again to power down the shields. Sam left alone in the underground facility communicates instructions to Jack and Teal'c to use the control crystals and shutdown the shields. She is spooked by something in the facility and collapses leaving Jack and teal'c to decide which crystals to pull. It turns out Osiris had located the position of the lab. Acting all smug she says the rest of SG-1 have been captured, and asks the location of Daniel Jackson. Sam after being attacked with the hand device says that he is dead. Jack and Tea;'c obtain staff weapons from an incompitent squad of Jaffa through hand to hand combat!?!?!! They shoot the control crystals and the shields go offline. All of SG-1 and Thor are trasported to the cargo ship. As the cargo ship leaves the atmosphere Thor says they must leave him behind as the link to the Goau'ld ship will give away their position. Sg-1 reject this idea and are shot at as the emerge. Hyperdrive and then the cloaking go offline. Anubis orders them to surrender. The scientist says they must destroy the ship to avoid the Goau'ld obtaining the research. But three vastly superior Asgaard ships commanded by Freia arrive and protect the cargo ship. Anubis' ship (presumably with Osiris on it, though you never see her leave the planet) retreats. I can't think why the Asgaard wouldn't shoot it! The remaining 5 minutes is spent in the SGC with Jack, Teal'c and Sam planning some socialising. A wind blows past Sam and she wonders what it was. Teal'c suggests a fault with the air conditioning. As Jack boards the lift to the surface his hair blows and he turns and smiles, you are left feeling as if Daniel is watching over them.

It took me a long time to write that, long enough for some of you to spoil some of the best bits.

Hey that's alright, Ginner, it took me a while to hack together all that {SPOILER}{/SPOILER} code to wrap around the text I wrote...

How do you do that spoiler thing in grey?
It never works for me!
{spoiler}

Use [ ] brackets as in [ spoiler ] and at the end [/ spoiler ]

well a bit of a bitter dissapointment although it was still very good now how stupid are he asgard they should have fired on anubis ass and rid the galaxy of him once for all and the asgards thing in the pod is quite cool it is sort of a cross beetween a human and the current asgard figure. now my current thoery on how anubis has goten back to power so fast is this either he has captured other asgard and got information on them or he may have goten ahold of some replicator technoligy and thats why he has got so much power and it is also not fair because the asgard are supposed to be so powerfull they shouldnt have a problem with some stupid shields. :alienooh: and why didnt they show anubis face i realy want to see it. although i think that his hosts face may be very badly scared so he doesnt like to show it but allswell that ends well at least for another season

Well, if they did that, they'd have nothing to work with next season...:dead:

yeah !
I'm just gonna try out this spoiler thing to see if it works.
[hello, if you can clearly see this, it didn't work, again, otherwise, cool!/]

Ok, lets try this....

This would be a spoiler if it wasn't a test ;)

Very nice indeed......

It goes like this:
Text
With no spaces :)

BTW About Anubis... I thought I saw his face, it looked very watery or like glass...maybe a new race as been made into hosts? Maybe he was hinting at it when he said to Thor "Allot of things have changed since we last met" or something like that..
