Yep..sorry, you were wrong. In the book it states:
McGanagall: "I would never have believed it of any of you. Mr. Filch says you were up in the astronomy tower. It's one o'clock in the morning, Explain yourselves."
It was the first time Hermione had ever failed to answer a teacher's question.

And yes the bloody Baron was who Harry impersonated and yes Herminone was the rook in the book. not the queen like in the movie. In the movie she never moved, in the book it seemed to me that she did. am I making tooo much of an assumption?

Turns? I thought it was if you had a q then you could ask it... like:
