My husband and I used to watch this religiously every week when it was on. Then POOF!!!!!!!!! it disappeared. Have managed to catch it on Sci-fi channel a couple of times but thats it.

It only ran for one season (just 24 episodes). Maybe it just seemed longer?

It was good quality, and I like all of Gerry Andersons stuff, but he never seems to be given enough chances. Thunderbirds was cancelled - IMHO one of the biggest mistakes of all time! UFO was cancelled and replaced with Space 1999. I know Neo for one doesn't agree with me, but I think UFO was infinitely better.

I heard Gerry in an interview recently say that he was working on something new, with a new partner (he has separated from his wife, and former partner Sylvia Anderson) but he was being cryptic as to what it was. He was selling a few more old puppets so he must be short of cash (though his reason was that they took up too much room)

Space 1999 was absolute PANTS!!!!!!! What a complete waste of time. I did own a 1999 t-shirt. My excuse being a young toddler who didn't know any better. Can't say I ever saw UFO. I have seen Space Precinct being sold on video. (Forbidden Planet).

yes, i do remember space precinct, i used to really like it, but then it just vanished i neva saw the last couple of eps, so i neva really got to find out what happened in the end...

Jeri Ryan was Juliet in 'Dark Skies' -- another good series cut off in it's prime. it only ran for one series too. I didn't see them all though, I would like to see it again.

Never heard of the Eric Close - Michael Biehn series.
