Oh you are sooooo mean....
And in your last post about him being a geek...I don't know why people keep saying this..he doesn't look loke a geek (whatever a geek is supose to look like) and if you think he is a geek just coz he likes his work and is intelligant..well the same goes for Sam then. ;)
As for killing or taking Sam out of the show...Nooooo to that too...I like Sam.
Although I do agree I think some more interesting stuff should happen to her:cool:

Well knowing myself I will not give up even after he leaves the show. Being such a great actor I know he can't stay away from a project to long. I will not give up!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm still watching stargate sg-1 but I'm placing bets that the show won't last very long after he's gone.....

Like what?!?! 90% of her screen time is technobabble. And bad acting doesn't help either. I have seen better acting in a 7th grade school play. Thank god that RDA's acting overshadows her character. Look sci fi shows have their weaknesses, and not all TV shows are going to have good actors. Her character is not likeable. Just annoying.
 
When she first started her character was very "military" type!! I mean, she would never even consider disobeying ANY of the rules, but now (if oyu watch her) she would do anything for what is right!! If she were to die, more than likely the Stargate programme would fall flat as most problems that occur in the SGC are "technobably" Stuff!!
And Plus, now (in season 5) she doesnt use as much Technobable stuff!! And if you've seen Ascension, there is no way you can say she's a bad actor or her character isnt interesting!!

You have to remember that RDA IS effectivly the Main character in Stargate.

oh i was just saying that...i know he doesnt look like a geek, and i dont think hes a geek because he likes his work (cause if i did then i would say Sam was like that 2) theres just something about his character that, from the beggining put me off!! I do like his character MOST of the time, but there are a few moments that........i dunno!! ity will be a shame him leaving, but he will be back in a few episodes so......thats something to look out for!!!
 
AT Bad acting? I wouldn't say so. As for her 'disobaying' rules to do what's right, first off, I don't remember her doing so in more than one or 2 cases...but then look at their situation, it's rather unique doing Stargate travel & interacting with those not living on Earth. Secondly, I like her character. There are too few strong women roles on TV
 
true!! I dont agree with you ILStSg (sowy) i think AT is a very strong actress and i agree with YOU skoon!! There really are too few strong women types in tv shows!!

that's a good bet to make cause i read that RDA wasn't very interested in any more than six years... and being the central charactor... well you get the idea.

what do you guys think will make him leave? (Daniel, that is) He's lost his wife, found the son, (the two main things keeping him going) what is it that will make him move on?
 
i should mention, i'm with out cable and am only in season 3... :( but it's ok i survive

...Ive read in a few places now that he dies saving people from another planet but is greatly exposed to radiation and is dying in the infirmary when that omah da sallah (however you spell it) takes him away, without his body though!....thats all i saw so he will probably be in it as a kind of spirit or something if this place i read it from is correct.
 
Daniel leaving?!

Did any of u guys hear about Daniel leaving the show? apparently he is supposed to leave in the second to lest ep of series 5, but in such a way that he can return in certain episodes of series 6.

Anyone help with this, cos i don't want it to be true!:(

Yes... sorry have to concur with Spooky... MS is leaving the show. Daniel of course is just a character in the show and will do whatever the writers say he's to do.

Rumour has it that in the episode Meridian, they kill him off and Oma Desala helps him ascend and transcend his own physical state and therefore makes him available for other episodes presumably as 'Saint Daniel' (god help us all!) .... but who knows??

I hope they just kill him and leave him dead.... it would have more reality to it and then at least whoever replaces him will stand a fighting chance.

So MS is leaving.......hmmm.....I like Jack a lot better but i think Daniel is cool too. Jack is supoposed to retire at end of series 6

ok not goa'uld daniel but a tok'ra daniel wood b quite cool. Then he will live for many many years and all the daniel fans will be happy....
 
Yeah, that would be sorta cool... Although I'm not sure the glowing would match the blue in his eyes... *pounders*
