Character leaving

Afraid Daniel is leaving and will be appearing in season 6 nown and again and suposed to be in Stargate II feature film which is suposed to start production late next year.

Daniel is a great person they shouldn't take anyone from SG-1 away.I wounder If the fate will lose any stargate fans.

I guess losing Daniel will cost the show a few fans, but only those who watch it purely for him. I think most of us, even us Danielites, like the show for other reasons too and will keep watching.
But if they lose Jack as well, and especially if Sam or Teal'c go too, that will definately lose fans. I'm a big X Files fan too and it was ok without Mulder but I cant stand the idea of having all new people in it. Just wont be the same.
Sometimes I think it's better to end a show than drag it on with new members. Very rarely seems to work.

Hmmmm Sioku, they arent doing any more after season 6 apart from the movie which RDA will be in, aswell as everyone else, so jack isnt leaving at the end of season 6, but after the movie along with everyone else

The show is ending after its sixth season which will be shown on the SciFi channel in the US. There will still be a Stargate movie and a spin off show... still tentatively titled Atlantis...
RDA wants to move on as do many members of the cast and crew... so we will enjoy season 5 and 6 and the movie!
 
all this stuff about Daniel dying, i don't think is true. cos i was reading in SFX that he just leaves. don't know reasons tho. But it also said he comes back for a few eps in Series 6.

don't want danny to leave........... altho it won't be tragic, cos Jacko is a LOT better and u have to admit it;)

I don't think they are gunna kill Danny off..all the stories I have heard are what Anni posted above.....so he will still be around to do a few of season six and the movie...:D

I read this today on the starguide website about who might replace him...take a look..
