LeVar Burton was the eventual winner, raising $167,500 for his charity --Junior Achievement of Southern California.

In the running were William Shatner , Denise Crosby, Wil Wheaton, John de Lancie, Armin Shimerman, Robert Picardo, and Roxanne Dawson.

Anne Robinson was particularly abrasive, asking questions like:

Whose phaser is set on stun?

The Questions that stumped Star Trek's best.

1. To Denise Crosby: "What is the name of the spaceship furthest from Earth?"

Crosby's answer: "Jupiter".

2. To Armin Shimerman: "What is an egg called in the first few weeks of pregnancy?"

Shimerman's answer: "Ova".

actual answer: Embryo.

3. To Wil Wheaton: "Name the chain of islands named for a type of crocodile?"

Wheaton's answer: "Antilles".

Anyone got any more news on this?

The reason that I ask is that I just realised that the BBC has been showing 'The Weakest Link USA', in the early evening, every night on BBC2, until they start with the Tennis from Queens tomorrow, and no doubt Wimbledon straight after that.

Today, it was American TV personalities (Comedians and Game Show Hosts), obviously one of the 'Celebrity Week' games, so it doesn't seem too unlikely that they may show the Star Trek special in the near future too. I hope they advertise it though, otherwise I'll miss it.
