Anyway, I like Superman more than I like the Flash, but never will I ever try to argue that Superman could out-run the Flash, because I know that regardless of ho much I prefer Superman, Flash is in fact faster.

The Goku/Vegeta debate is the same thing. You like Vegeta better, and you're letting that one fact determine who you think would win, instead of actually taking an objective look at them both and basing your decision on that.

I hope you don't mean the profesional who wrote the actual series. Neither he, nor the animation company, is interested in making anything Dragonball any longer.

1) Everything Dragonball has been "old news" and "dead" in Japan for like 10 years now.

2) Toryama doesnt' want to spend is entire career on one single series, and he's already devoted a lot of years to Dragonball.

3) Toei knows from their experience with GT that no Dragonball series that lacks Toryama as the driving force behind all aspects of it will do all that well.

4) There are better things than Dragonball.
