I'm a bit confused by how they handle this supposed trouble. Reminds me a whole lot of the color blind issue with Mulder on the XFiles. That was a biggie handicap that I've never quite rember if correct attention has been paid to it since it was introduced. I suppose the XF writers just wanted that handicap to go away, and maybe that's the case with the SG writers and Daniel's glasses. Eventually they will go away and we won't have to debate. Of course, we won't have reason to post and swoon about his peepers so much either.
And "Legacy" didn't endear me very much with about how the writers think people with mental illness are treated. I feel they did all right with the visual and auditory hallucinations and the pain and confusion it causes friends and loved ones, but not how treatment would be handled. But, that's another soapbox.
