Would that be scenes that ram the film into the buffers, or the ones that might smooth things out?

I started a thread on the deleted scenes http://www.ascifi.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=16450

In short the scenes I think may have smoothed things out were 3 scenes during Padme's & Annakin's stay at Neboo. Wouldn't have sped the film up (or slowed it) a great deal, but might have smoothed some of the stops?

well this is my seconed attempt to post my opnion on this thread my first was lost after 20 minutes of typing, so heres the not as great seconed try


first the bad things from this movie

1. Anikin came off as a mad at the whole universe bratty teenager. Dude learn to shut up and take it
2. the love scenes in this movie were to long in my opinion. i realize that they were neccasary for the plot to advance along certain lines but couldnt it have been done in any other shorter way.
3. The Jedis apperent weakness and lack of being able to really do anything against the Dark side of the force. it seamed like Yoda was a predicting the end of every thing at the end of the movie, i thought that the Jedi were supposed to have hope cause they were the guairdians of the republic. I was also ****ed at Yodas apperent problems with moving one pillar in the end fight. i think that my confidence in his teaching methods fell with that scene. i mean what happened to size matters not???
4. Did Lucas consult any one about this script he wrote at all???? It would seem that he didnt, leaving a really poor script to be used, with such stupid phrases as Mace windu's "this partys over"
5. Lucas's totally ignoring an established fact in the EU that a group of engineers including the scientest Qui Xux(spelling?) desighned the Death star, not some little bug Aleins
6. Why are all the ships that Padame rides around in Shinny. and why do there engines sound like a prop??
7.Jar-Jar binks is the one who brought about the Empire why am i not suprised:rooleyes:


now for the good things of this movie

1. YODAS fight scene. NEED I SAY MORE
2. The cool look at Courscant we got and the special effects in general
3. The big fight scene at the end of the movie with the droids and the clones. was very well done
4. Jango fett chassing Obi-Wan throught the asteroid feild, i so want thoose sesimic charges
5. Finally learning more about the Clone wars, they are not a big hole in the star Wars history any more
6. finally the classic and wonderful comic releif of R2 and 3PO is back after being sorely missed in episode 1.
