I'll be awhile, I'll have to wait for my daughter to finish it before I can even start!

I know how you feel. I've only read a little since i have to steal it from my lil sisters room after she goes to sleep (it's the only time she puts it down :D)

But so far i'm loving it - will talk properly after i've finsihed it.

oh my gosh i have finished reading it and loved it all, took me a day, was the best birthday ever, reading harry potter all day:p

the one thing though that i hated in this book was how much harry was in the dark on things, although it did make me want to read on, it still got to me some in the begging, i was ready to start yelling at my copy to tell him to talk to dumbeldore so many times:p

i would also like to say that i actually thought that the person who died a prime target and the most likely canadite, no one else was closer to harry:p:rolly2:

OMG! who said it was only pretty good? come on! show yourselves! your in for a good beating :D

~joins the Mob~

Im hoping that cause the circumastances of death are kinda weired they can bring the person back!

WOW!

I got it (book 5) at 12:00(noon) on saturday and finnished it at noon on monday. I think that is the first time that I read a 870 page book in less than three days. It was great. My brother asked me "How can you spend 4 hours in a row, reading that book?". I asked him "How is it that you cannot?". I really liked the "club" that they were all in. I also liked the fate of George and Fred (perfect for them). It was also nice to know a little more about the "James Potter vs. Snape" thing. Much to my dismay, Lockheart, Rita Skeeter and Professor Trelawney all came out of it unharmed. It was nice to finnaly get some real answers. The only thing that is still bugging me is the result of everyones O.W.L.s. We don't get to find out untill the next book (booooooo!). Oh well! I guess thats life for ya!

oh man, so muched happened in the end that i totally forgott about the results of the owls:eek:, also i want to know if everything is back to normal at hogwarts now that the ministry and dumbeldore are working together, is the position of high inquisitor gone? and again we have to start guessing and wondering who will be our next defense against the dark arts teacher, a revolving door seems to come with this position:p:rolly2:

yea high inqusitor is gone! as for OWLS i cant wait! and erm ~knocks 104 pages off that total~
The book is 766 Pages long excludidng th eintro pages and Empty pages :p

Voted "the best ever" LOL. Absolutely fantastic book, read at every chance I got in between cooking, washing, sorting kids out etc lol, finally finished it tonight and was like WOW poor Sirius. The edition I've got is 766 pages long. Great read!!!!!

annette :)

I started reading it Saturday at 4:00pm, and finished Sunday about 8:00pm, but i could have read it quicker if not for pesky things like eating and sleeping! ;)

I thought it was really good, but still second to "Goblet of Fire". It just seemed to drag on a bit before they actually got to the school. And there was hardly any quidditch, those are the best bits!

But it was really sad when Sirius died, i was nearly crying, he was my favourite character! I hope they find a way to find him back. I thought it was clever how about 5 different people seemed to be the one who was going to snuff it, it just made Sirius' death more surprising.

It was good to find out some more about James and Lily's past, hopefully there will be more of that in the later books. A lot of people were speculating that maybe Snape had a crush on Lily, which could or could not be true, i guess that might become clearer later on.

Overall, a great book, can't wait for the next one!

as being creator and therefore leader of the 'mob' i have to say 1) that book was the most amazing thing i have read in a long time and 2) i meant it when i said own up. u r a very VERY naughty person, and will be punished. thankyou *bows* :D

ok well i think the mob should disperse now and go forth and spread the word that harry potter is our new god:p

hehe

i was also a little ****ed off about how there was so little on quiditch in this book, i really missed it:(, another question did was it just me or did the whole thing with sirus going behind the curtian ever explained, like what did that signify, did he die, or just pass on to another plane of existence?:rolly2:
