A poll for harry potter the order of the phoneix

It was a disappointment that there wasn't much quidditch even tho Ron was the new keeper. Still a good book tho. ;)

annette :D

Well, with Umbridge gone for the 6th book, hArry'll be able to play quidditch in the next book, so hopefully, there should be a lot in the next one! YEY!:rolly2:

i like quidditch, it's cool :D

u know what would be really cool

if harry got scouted for one of the professional teams:p:rolly2:

Have just finished - wow - absolutely excellent. There was just so much in this book - more was explored but again it just left us with more questions - why did Snape and Harry's father hate each other so much, what was behind the veil/archway where the whispering voices came from, when are Ron and Hermoine going to get together??? Loved the way we learnt more about Harry's parents as teenagers, the DA, the Order of the Phoenix. It was also good the way that the book treated all the characters like they were growing up. And poor Sirius - he wasn't one of my favourite characters before this book, but in this book, I really warmed to him. And also really unfair that he gets taken away from Harry - it's like losing his dad again. So glad it wasn't Ron tho' - I really feared for him at one point!

na there was never a chance that he would get killed he and hermoine are to essential to the plot:p:rolly2:

I loved it, it was excellent!!!!!!!!! Though the 4th one really caught me, I finished it in 2 days, and the 5th took me a week, because I didn't read too much everyday. Loved Harry's 1st kiss (I'm so proud for my little baby Harry:)). I thought maybe there was a bit too little Ron and too much Hermione. Can't wait for the 6th one, or the 3rd, 4th and 5th one's movies. We're really gonna miss Sirius:(.

I voted it was pretty good, not as good as it could have been though. After dragging myself out of bed early (1pm to be exact... come on it was a saturday) to buy it the day it was released, it only took me a day to read the thick book. Well, it was either that or study.
I really liked the dark and more 'realistic' tone and writing style of the book but the plot wasn't very good.

It just wasn't all that prominent in the story. Most of it was taken up by sub-stories and bits of Harry's life at Hogwarts. The main part of the story just seemed to be stuck to the end of the story, all there was before it were little hints and bits and pieces, nothing much to go on.

This book was absolutely fantastic
I had never been into Harry Potter much but my mum satrted reading the books so I bought them and read bookks 3, 4, and 5 in 4 days.
I must say that they were some of the best hours I've ever spent reading a book :D
Does get rather dark though don't it!

i cant agree with you there shaun...

as for the Veil.. it was the land of the dead as it wear and the whispers where those of dead ppl...

quotes the book....
"The Deceased never leave us.. didnt you hear them... behind the veil"

well summit like that.. my brother ha the book ATM

I think that alot of people might have been a little board with all of the extra "school stuff", but it was important to see their magic improve and advance. The over all story is shorter than Book4 (more "big" things happened in Book4) than Book5, yet Book5 was longer (my copy without the extra pages is 870 pages). There has been talk that Book4 will be made into 2 movies.

On the other hand, Book5 would only need to be one film (more of the book could "trimmed" without killing story). So Book5 is both bigger and smaller than Book4. I liked Book5 because it seemed to be a kind of turning point for Harry. He keeps becoming more wizard and less muggle in every book. Now he has a little better grip on what is going on. I think that in Book6 Harry will be a little more relaxed (not so angry). I might get sick if Percy becomes Minister of Magic.

I wonder if new Prefects are chosen every year(5th years only?)?

yep 5ths only.... but they keep prefect stuff till they leave me thinks....

i am still some what shall we say confused on the veil, but ill leave that be for now, my big problem with this book is the amount of things that were left hanging, ive got more questions then i had after the last book, she left lots haning:(:rolly2:

AHHHH DIE SHAUN DIE!!!!!! U EVIL PERSON!!!!!! :crying:
