Kira Yamato (Coordinator)- Resident of the resource satellite Heliopolis. Is involved in the Gundam capture operation, and becomes the pilot of the Earth forces' secret weapon, the Strike Gundam.

A citizen of the neutral space colony Heliopolis, Kira Yamato is a sixteen-year-old student opposed to joining the war between the Earth Alliance and ZAFT. Overall, he's a fairly typical kid, going to school, enjoying a social life with his circle of friends, and so forth, but his life undergoes dramatic changes when ZAFT brings the war to his colony.
Due to circumstances largely beyond his control, Kira ends up piloting the Alliance's experimental new Strike Gundam, where he reveals his exceptional skills that result from his being a Coordinator, a genetically enhanced human with high technical proficiency. Thrust into the middle of the war, Kira fights not for the sake of the Earth Alliance, but to protect his friends, who escaped with him from the space colony aboard the Alliance battleship Archangel.

Forced to experience a quick crash course in the realities of warfare, Kira is left mentally unstable by several personally devastating events occurring in quick succesion. What's more is the quartet of ZAFT pilots he constantly has to deal with, including his former best friend, Athrun Zala, and another who has sworn vendetta against him, Yzak Jule. Throughout his fighting, the desire to protect his friends remains, but unfortunately, this growing instability may leave him open to Fllay Allster's manipulation...

asrun's gundam is the pinkish red one with the funky feet called the blaster gundam. It can shapeshift into this box like thing... that I believe has no purpose other than a new weapon lol. Anyways, I like the one that can go invisible the best.
