Question re Secret Keepers...

not when harry is concerned or feist for that matter

were you the one that tried to get me to read pern?

Well, there's not long to wait now, is there? Perhaps we'll finally get our answers.

doubt it..she make us wait till comic relief or summit next year with a mere 10 page book with all the answers and it costs like £8 or $16

No!!! I couldn't bear that!

JK -- think of the fans!

:D

Nah, I think she'll be more than pleased to finally be free of him -- after all, it's been over ten years, hasn't it?

Yeah the first book came out 97 or 98 but she was writing well before that.

Well, we have the answer to this, anyway!

The charm stops when those under it die. Ergo when the Potters were killed, the charm 'died' as well.

I think Harry's now been in her life for 17 years.

As long as the encyclopaedia is thick and full of detail, I don't begrudge Comic Relief that much money. It's not as if it's lining the pockets of JKR or her publishers (as the 10+ million copies of Hallows has just done, in a single day).

But Harry didnt die so the charm should not have stopped.

Perhaps the charm was somehow able to tell that it had failed, and therefore switched itself off.

Yeah that was what I was thinking too.

I think the charm just failed for some unknown reason.
