Stephen King Trivia Quiz! (Please see first post)

rolling pin.lol.an no i didnt go back an take a look, i just happened to have a look through this thread tonight.(i dunno why im saying this like im right, i could be wrong.)

Yes! Finally! That's the right answer, Irish, your go next!

P.S sorry it's taken me so long to reply, I've been away this week!

Well I didn't know that the person who gets the question right gets to ask the next question.(I was really only flicking through to see). But if I must be Chris Tarrant temporarily, then so be it.
Ok, em......Steve wrote a book called Rage, which was published in the late 70's.It's been since banned because it holds a connection with a kid who murdered a bunch of people in a prayer group some years ago. What was the original title of that book supposed to be, before King decided on "Rage"?

Well, that was one of the reasons why I said it would be wise to wait for confirmation of the answer by the person who posted it before posting a question of one's own...:)

Haven't a clue about the answer to the above question, though, so I'm going to sidle out of this thread right about now...:D

Oh no.....hahahaha....she knew damn well she was right. She was just trying to lessen her superiority over us.lol.She knows her stuff. She may say as she pleases. And I don't know the answer either because I'm yet to read it.And ironically my brother came home from NY a few days back and he gave me Black House. So now I HAVE to read the Talisman. And I don't say that as if I don't want to read it, its just its come to a stage where it has to take a number and stand in line.I have a to-read list the length of the Great Wall of China.

I just happened upon this thread.

So is "getting it on" the correct answer to the current question? Or is the answer still being sought?

Or are we on to a new Q&A?

It seems the answer was right, so yes, we're onto a new question!

What was Wolf wearing in The Talisman when Jack first met him?

And don't worry, Abbi. But the reason I've asked people to wait until the answer is confirmed that the person who posted it was because we've had some trouble with these types of quizzes in the past. It slows things down a little but I think it's better in the long run :)

*Shifts into motivator role again*

Annnyyyooonneee got a clue at all as to what the answer is? Speak now or forever hold thy peace...and in that case, we might need a new question :D

Hey, I'm new to this forum and happened upon this great thread! I see it hasn't been used in a while, so I hope someone will check...

I believe that the Wolf is wearing overalls when Jack first meets him in the Talisman....

Hey, Gunslinger, nice to see a King fan around the place. And thanks for reviving the thread! I don't know whether that's the correct answer or not, but seeing as it's been so very long since the question was asked, and you get a special point for bringing the thread up again, free feel to post the next question...

Thankee, Sai! It's nice to 'meet' you!

Hmmm let's see, how about an easy one...

In Rose Madder, what is it that Rose sees that finally gives her the inspiration to leave her abusive husband?

No problem, say thankya. I like trying to keep this little King forum active so it's always nice to see new Constant Readers!

Hmm...I swear it's a drop of blood on something, but I can't remember what. I'm tempted to say the bed sheet, but I could be barking up the wrong tree entirely...

LOL well it looks like it's just us right now, but there have to be some stragglers out there!

You are correct, it is a single drop of blood! :D

*Sticks out her leg and bows over it* Thankee.

Ooh, that means I've got to think of a question. Righto. Hmm...

OK, this might be a little challenging -- In Misery, Anne Wilkes mentions a specific place that features heavily in another of King's novels. What place is it?

I thought that Sidewinter plays a huge part in The Shining, but I could be wrong... then maybe Boulder =P?

Ah, you're so on the right path...! But even more specific! (I assure you, this place really is mentioned by Anne Wilkes).
