Garth Nix

I'm halfway through reading Sabriel :p
unfortunately it isnt a bookk i can sit all day reading, its one that you read about 2 chapters, stop, start again, stop, start again, st...
you get the idea.

I've just finishing reading Sir Thursday - I love this series! I haven't read any other Garth Nix (aside from the Keys to the Kingdom series) but it is on my list of things to get round to reading.

I found it a lot easier to tackle than His Dark Materials series for one (as much as I enjoyed that).

Im hoping to get Sir Thursday soon, hoping :D

If you like the previous novels you'll really enjoy it. The rest of the "Days" are making more of an appearance!

Now I have to wait for Friday!

Im half way though Sir Thursday, one of those books you'll like if you're into army stories

Garth Nix is brill, one of my favourites! Abhorsen is my favourite one! I can't believe what happened to the Dog (I won't spoil it if you haven't read it!)
Creature in the Case is also good.

Ive read the Abhorsen series, and Ragwitch, and the Mr Monday,Tues,Wed and Thusday books...all good

Although they aparently were written for children? young Adults...I think as an OLD adult of 37 that his writing is fantastic!

As a YOUNG ADULT of somewhere around 38 who also likes Nix, rest assured you're not alone...:D

What is it with this "Young Adult" nonsense? I still read and enjoy Alan Garner, Andrew Lang's fairy tale books, and L. Frank Baum! Pigeonholing! Bah!

Who knows? I reckon there's quite a bit of so-called YA literarture which is superior to what is preceived to be adult works in Fantasy.

Ummmm. I'd say there's quite a bit of YA that's superior to a fair amount of what's considered adult literature ... period.

He is my favorite author. I love his stuff you should check out the seven towers series. i unfortunately havent picked up the days of the week series yet but i cant get enough of him for sure.

nix is good i read shades children between sabriel and liriel and it was brill

i wated ages for abhorsen to come out in paperback so i could comlpeat my collection and read it and unfortunatley cried.
